Abstract: A colored glass article may include 50-80 mol % SiO2; 7-20 mol % Al2O3; 1-35 mol % R2O, wherein R2O comprises at least one of Li2O, Na2O, and K2O; 1×10−6-10 mol % of a colorant, wherein the colorant comprises at least one of Cr2O3, Au, Ag, CuO, NiO, Co3O4, TiO2, CeO2; and 12-24 mol % of Al2O3+MgO+CaO+ZnO. The colored glass article may have a transmittance color coordinate in the CIELAB color space with an L* value of 55 to 96.5. The colored glass article may have a compressive stress profile with a depth of compression ≥0.15 t a thickness t from 0.4 mm-5 mm, a compressive stress ≥200 MPa, and a central tension ≥60 MPa. The colored glass article may have a dielectric constant from 5.6 to 6.4 over the frequency range from 10 GHz to 60 GHz.

Abstract: Embodiments of an enclosure including a substrate having an anti-fingerprint surface are disclosed. The anti-fingerprint surface may include a textured surface, a coated surface or a coated textured surface that exhibits a low fingerprint visibility, when a fingerprint is applied to the anti-fingerprint surface. In one or more embodiments, the enclosure exhibits any one of the following attributes (1) radio, and microwave frequency transparency, as defined by a loss tangent of less than 0.03 and at a frequency range of between 15 MHz to 3.0 GHz; (2) infrared transparency; (3) a fracture toughness of greater than 0.6 MPa·m1/2; (4) a 4-point bend strength of greater than 350 MPa; (5) a Vickers hardness of at least 450 kgf/mm2 and a Vickers median/radial crack initiation threshold of at least 5 kgf; (6) a Young's Modulus in the range from about 50 GPa to about 100 GPa; and (7) a thermal conductivity of less than 2.0 W/m° C.

Abstract: Embodiments of a deadfront article are provided. The deadfront article includes a substrate having a first surface and a second surface. The deadfront article also includes a semi-transparent layer disposed onto the second surface of the substrate. The semi-transparent layer has a region of a solid color or of a design of two or more colors, and the semi-transparent layer has a first optical density. Further, the deadfront article includes a contrast layer disposed onto the region. The contrast layer is configured to enhance visibility of the color(s) of the semi-transparent layer.

Abstract: A coated glass article is described herein that includes a glass substrate including a first major surface and a second major surface. The first major surface and the second major surface may be opposing sides of the glass substrate. Abstract: Provided is a wavelength conversion member that is less decreased in luminescence intensity with time by irradiation with light of an LED or LD and a light emitting device using the wavelength conversion member. Abstract: A glass material that includes: from about 0.45 to about 0.86 mole fraction of SiO2; from about 0.05 to about 0.43 mole fraction of: Y2O3, BaO, or a combination of Y2O3 and BaO; and optionally Ta2O5. The sum of the Y2O3, the BaO and the optional Ta2O5 is from about 0.10 to about 0.50 mole fraction. The glass includes less than 0.01 mole fraction of Na2O and less than 0.01 mole fraction of K2O. The glass material may be in the form of microspheres. The microspheres may be used for vascular embolization and/or radiologic imaging.
