摘要： Disclosed herein is a device and method for displaying channel information in a digital broadcasting receiver. A broadcasting receiver receives and demodulates a digital broadcasting signal of a selected channel. A data processor demultiplexes the demodulated broadcasting signal, separates Electronic Program Guide (EPG) data and broadcasting data, and decodes the broadcasting data. A controller controls an operation for analyzing the EPG data, generating summary information on a service channel-by-service channel basis, generating summary information of programs of service channels, generating structured EPG data, and displaying the EPG data or the structured EPG data in response to a user's selection when a channel information display request is made. A memory stores the EPG data and the structured EPG data under control of the controller. A display unit displays the EPG data or the structured EPG data in channel information.

The pitch detection apparatus for use in a vocoder includes a bandwidth expansion unit for performing an inverse-filtering process and a bandwidth expansion process on an input voice signal, and generating a bandwidth-expanded residual signal; a pitch analyzer for calculating a time autocorrelation function and a spectral autocorrelation function of the bandwidth-expanded residual signal, mixing the time autocorrelation function and the spectral autocorrelation function, comparing an autocorrelation function calculated by dividing a pitch acquired from the mixed autocorrelation function by an integer multiple with another autocorrelation function acquired at a predetermined pitch, and determining a point or position having the highest value to be an open-loop pitch; a pitch smoothing unit for smoothing the open-loop pitch using an average pitch value when the detected open-loop pitch is outside of a predetermined range of a previous frame; and a pitch quantizer for quantizing the smoothened open-loop pitch into predetermined levels, and generating the quantized result.

摘要： An apparatus and method for processing a data backup service of a mobile terminal. The apparatus and method backs-up data files stored in a mobile terminal in a backup server over a wireless Internet. The backup server is capable of backing-up resource information of the mobile terminal. The apparatus and method comprise a) checking setup backup resources during a backup setup procedure, and attempting to establish a connection to the backup server; b) analyzing category information of data to be transmitted to the backup server after connecting to the backup server, determining the number of references if the data category is equal to data including iterative information, and determining a division interval on the basis of a file size and performing data synchronization if the data category is equal to data including binary data. The apparatus and method further comprise c) separately storing the synchronization data serving as the iterative information and combining the separately-stored results when the synchronization data is determined to be iterative information, or divisionally storing the synchronization data, combining the divisionally-stored results, and transmitting the combined result when the synchronization data is determined to be divisionally-designated data; and d) terminating a backup operation of the mobile terminal when the backup server generates a response signal after the data is transmitted to the backup server.

摘要： A decoding device and a decoding method in a digital broadcast receiver are provided, in which received packet data is demultiplexed into video data and audio data, and decoding control signals of the respective data are extracted. An Estimated Program Clock Reference (EPCR) is generated from the decoding control signal of the audio data, and the EPCR is compared with the decoding control signal of the video data to generate a video decoding control signal. The demultiplexed video data is decoded in synchronous with the video decoding control signal, and then the decoded video data is outputted. The demultiplexed audio data is decoded in synchronous with the audio decoding control signal, and then the decoded audio data is outputted. Finally, the decoded video data and the decoded audio data are displayed and reproduced.
