    摘要: A pixel driving circuit includes a first driver and a second driver. The first gate driver includes a plurality of stage units connected to odd-numbered gate lines. The second gate driver includes a plurality of stage units connected to even-numbered gate lines. Each of the stage units of the first and second gate drivers includes an input unit, a first signal output unit, and a second signal output unit. The input unit outputs a driving control signal according to a previous stage driving signal output from the previous stage unit and a next stage driving signal output from the next stage unit. The first signal output unit outputs a stage driving signal according to the driving control signal and a driving clock signal. The second signal output unit outputs a gate voltage signal to the corresponding gate line according to the driving control signal and a gate clock signal.

    摘要: A method for controlling a backlight luminance in which a reference voltage is set, a sampling voltage is generated based on the reference voltage, and a net photo current signal is generated by a photo current sensing element and a dark current sensing element. The net photo current signal is generated independently of temperature variations. A luminance control signal is generated based on the sampling voltage. The luminance of the backlight assembly is controlled using the luminance control signal. Therefore, variation of the luminance of the backlight assembly may be minimized, although external luminance, temperature, and variation between different photo sensors, the deterioration of the elements, and the like, may be changed.

    摘要: A shift register includes a plurality of stages each generating an output signal in sequence and including a buffering section, a driving section, a first charging section, and a charging control section. The buffering section receives one of a scan start signal and an output signal of a previous stage so that the driving section generates the output signal of a present stage. The first charging section includes a first terminal electrically connected to the driving section and a second terminal electrically connected to a first source voltage. The charging control section applies the output signal of a next stage to the first charging section. Therefore, a gradual failure of TFT is reduced.

    摘要: A data line and an amorphous silicon pattern are formed on a substrate. The first electrode pattern is extended from the data line and overlaps an edge of the amorphous silicon pattern. The second electrode pattern is made of the same metal as the first electrode pattern and overlaps the edge of the amorphous silicon pattern at an opposite side of the first electrode pattern. Edges of the first and the second electrode patterns are sharply formed so that a tunneling effect easily occurs through the amorphous silicon pattern. An indium-tin-oxide pattern for a capacitor is formed at the end of the second electrode pattern. The capacitor is formed between the ITO pattern and a common electrode.
