摘要: A versatile linker compound has a structure represented by following general formula (1), wherein Y has a structure represented by O or NH, and X has a structure serving as a multi-branched moiety including four hydrocarbon derivative chains each of which has an aromatic amino group at an end thereof, and may or may not have a carbon-nitrogen bond in a backbone thereof. With the versatile linker compound, sugar molecules can be two-dimensionally arranged on a surface of a protein-analyzing supporter with high reproducibility. Also, a ligand includes the versatile linker compound and a sugar molecule introduced thereinto.

摘要: This invention has as its object to provide an image sensing apparatus which can satisfactorily correct misregistration among images, and can composite the images. To achieve this object, an image sensing apparatus includes: a plurality of apertures that receives external light from different positions; a plurality of image sensing units that outputs image signals obtained by independently receiving light that comes from an identical position of an object and is received via the plurality of apertures, and independently extracting predetermined color components for each received light; and a signal processing device that forms a signal that outputs an object image by mixing the image signals output from the plurality of image sensing units. When it is determined that a predetermined position deviation occurs between the image signals upon forming the signal that outputs the object image, the signal processing device corrects the predetermined position deviation by a signal process, and forms the signal that outputs the object image.

摘要: A semiconductor optical device is provided with a photo-electric conversion unit having plural photo-electric conversion elements and is entirely sealed by a sealing member. The photo-electric conversion elements are connected to external leads with electrical connectors. The distance D between a planar outer surface and a photoelectric conversion area satisfies the equation, D.gtoreq./2.multidot.l/tan .theta., where .theta. is a critical angle of total reflection of the sealing member with respect to air and l is the maximum length of said photoelectric conversion area.

摘要: There is disclosed a focus detecting apparatus capable of detecting the focus state of an objective lens in a wide viewing field, comprises a view finder optical unit for observing the image formed by the objective lens, an optical unit for forming a pair of optical amount distributions, based on light beams passing through different areas of the pupil of the objective lens, wherein the optical unit being provided, at the light incident side, with a concave face directed to the light incident side, and, at the light exit side, with a convex face directed to the light exit side, a sensor unit for received said pair of the optical amount distributions, a main mirror positioned in the optical path from the objective lens to the optical unit and adapted to reflect the light beams from the objective lens toward the finder optical unit, and a reflecting mirror having a concave curved face directed to the light entrance side and adapted to reflect the light beams, transmitted by the main mirror, in a direction opposite to the finder optical system and toward the optical unit.

摘要: An auto focusing device or a camera including such a device has a focus detecting circuit for detecting the defocus states of a plurality of objects. A calculation circuit calculates a lens position and an aperture value which are capable of placing at least two of the plurality of objects in focus on the basis of the detected defocus states. When a defocus amount difference between the two objects is outside of a predetermined range, the calculation circuit calculates a lens position capable of placing two other objects, the defocused amount difference between which is within the predetermined range, in focus.
