    摘要: A range-finding optical system comprising a light emitting element, a light projecting lens located in front of the light emitting element and serving to project the light emitted from the light emitting element onto an object, a light receiving element, a light receiving lens located in front of the light receiving element and serving to converge the light, which is emitted from the light emitting element and reflected by the object, onto the light receiving element, a member for interconnecting the light projecting lens and light receiving lens and for defining the distance therebetween, and a member for interconnecting the light emitting element and light receiving element and for defining the distance therebetween, the range-finding optical system being arranged that the displacement of the focus point of the photographic lens system to be caused by temperature variation is easily compensated by means of the difference between the coefficient of thermal linear expansion of the member for interconnecting the light projecting lens and light receiving lens and the coefficient of thermal linear expansion of the member for interconnecting the light emitting element and light receiving element without additionally adopting a particular member.

    摘要: There is provided an image taking device with removable optical unit, with which it is possible to operate the power supply of the image taking device body without operating a power switch, and operation of the power supply of the image taking device body is made easy. The image taking device with removable optical element is provided with an image taking device body, a lens unit (optical unit) that is removable with respect to the image taking device body, an attachment detection unit for detecting attachment of the lens unit to the image taking device body, and a system controller (control unit) for turning a power supply of the image taking device body on upon detection of attachment of the lens unit to the image taking device body by the attachment detection unit. The system controller is configured to turn off the power supply of the image taking device body in a state where attachment of the lens unit to the image taking device body is not detected by the attachment detection unit.

The zoom lens system comprises, in order from an object side thereof, a first lens group G1 consisting of one single lens formed of a homogeneous medium and having positive refracting power, a second lens group G2 consisting of one single lens formed of a homogeneous medium and having negative refracting power, and a third lens group G3 consisting of one single lens formed of a homogeneous medium and having positive refracting power. For zooming from a wide-angle end to a telephoto end of the zoom lens system, at least the second lens group G2 moves from the object side toward an image side of the zoom lens system.

    摘要: The invention relates to a zoom lens system of two-group construction, one lens for each group, which is less susceptible to aberration variations even upon zooming and can be much more increased in terms of lens aperture and zoom ratio. The zoom lens system of two-group construction comprises, in order from an object side thereof, a first lens group G1 having negative refracting power and a second lens group G2 having positive refracting power and in which a focal length thereof is varied by moving both the lenses while an optical axis separation therebetween is varied. The first lens group G1 consists of one concave lens having a strong concave surface directed toward an image plane side of the zoom lens system and formed of a homogeneous medium, and the second lens group G2 consists of one convex lens formed of a homogeneous medium. A stop S is located between the first lens group G1 and the second lens group G2. The first lens group G1 moves largely from the object side toward an image side of the zoom lens system while the second lens group G2 moves from the image side toward the object side during zooming from a wide-angle end to a telephoto end of the zoom lens system.
