摘要: A radiation image erase unit erases a remaining radiation image from a stimulable phosphor sheet by exposing the same to erasure light after reading out a radiation image stored thereon by applying stimulating light to the stimulable phosphor sheet to cause the same to emit light representative of the radiation image and detecting and converting the light emitted from the stimulable phosphor sheet photoelectrically to an electric signal. When the illuminance of the erasure light emitted from erasing light sources is lowered, or one or more of the erasing light sources fail to be energized, the stimulable phosphor sheet is controlled to remain in the radiation image erase unit during a time dependent on the reduction in the illuminance of the erasure light. Any remaining radiation image is thus completely erased from the stimulable phosphor sheet in preparation for the recording of a next radiation image thereon.

摘要: A video signal reproduction apparatus for reproducing a composite color video signal from a recording medium. A signal reproduced from the recording medium is divided into a frequency-modulated (FM) signal and a low-band-converted signal by filters. The FM signal is demodulated by a demodulater into a luminance signal. A first conversion circuit produces from the low-band-converted signal a chrominance signal without a phase jitter component. A second conversion circuit produces from the low-band-converted signal a high-band component of luminance signal with a same phase jitter component as that of the luminance signal obtained from the demodulator. The luminance signal from the demodulator, the high-band component of luminance signal and the chrominance signal are mixed to obtain the composite color video signal.

摘要: A video signal recording/reproducing apparatus includes a first set of rotary heads mounted on a rotary disk and a second set of rotary heads mounted on head actuators which are also mounted on the rotary disk. The apparatus has two reproduction modes. A magnetic tape in the first reproduction mode is driven at a speed equal to the speed used in a recording mode. The magnetic tape in the second reproduction mode is driven at a speed which is different from the speed used in the recording mode. The apparatus has a negative feedback loop which detects the reproduced signal level of the second set of rotary heads and drives the head actuators in order to increase the reproduced signal level of the second set of rotary heads. In the first reproduction mode, the negative feedback loop is intermittently closed. At the period of time when the negative feedback loop is open, the negative feedback loop holds the value of its output signal to that of the last time period when the negative feedback loop was closed, and, in addition, the head actuator is not driven when the feedback loop is open. At a transitional period when the apparatus switches from the first reproduction mode to the second reproduction mode, a holding signal from the negative feedback loop is supplied to the head actuator.

摘要: A recording time mode detector for automatically detecting the recording time mode of reproducing video tape. This detector is constructed of a counter which counts the number of rotations of the capstan which drives the reproducing video tape and is reset by a reproduced control signal. The recording time mode is detected by the count stored in the counter.

摘要: A tracking system including positionable elements, rotary video heads mounted on the positionable elements, a control head, a frequency generator attached to a capstan motor, and a displacing pattern generator. The displacing pattern generator includes counters which count the pulses from the frequency generator. The pattern generator is reset by control signals reproduced by the control head, a still pattern generator, and an adding means which adds the output signal from the counters and the output signal from the still pattern generator. The output signal of the displacing pattern generator is amplified and applied to the positionable element. As result, the video head mounted on the positionable element can properly trace on a recorded video track at a normal tape speed or at a different tape speed.

摘要: In a solid electrolytic capacitor, a path of an electric current flowing from a lower layer to an upper layer of a laminate in cathode portions of respective capacitor elements connected through an electroconductive adhesive layer is opposite to paths of electric currents flowing from a canopy through joints to cathode terminals, thereby achieving reduction in ESL by mutual inductance effect in a simple structure. Since the solid electrolytic capacitor has the structure in which the laminate is surrounded by the canopy and joints, sufficient pressure resistance is ensured for the capacitor elements during resin injection. For this reason, a resin mold to cover the laminate can be formed by transfer molding, which ensures excellent heat resistance and moisture resistance.
