Abstract: A method for transmitting uplink data by a user equipment in a wireless communication system, the method including receiving, by the user equipment, downlink control information including information on a target code rate for the uplink data, determining, by the user equipment, a channel code among a plurality of channel codes based on the target code rate, encoding, by the user equipment, the uplink data based on the determined channel code and transmitting, by the user equipment, the encoded uplink data, wherein the plurality of channel codes support different ranges of code rates, respectively, and wherein the plurality of channel codes are low density parity check codes.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving a downlink channel in a wireless communication system are provided. A downlink control channel and a downlink data channel corresponding to the downlink control channel are transmitted/received within a transmission time interval (TTI). A reference signal (RS) of an antenna port used for transmission of both the downlink control channel and the downlink data channel is transmitted/received on an OFDM symbol with the downlink control channel, and an RS of an antenna port used only for transmission of the downlink data channel is transmitted in the remaining OFDM symbol(s) of the TTI.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) is discussed. The method is performed by a wireless device and includes receiving downlink control information (DCI), which is repeated on a plurality of downlink subframes, identifying a last subframe on which the repetition is completed, determining that the identified last subframe is not used for determining a start subframe to repeatedly transmit the PUSCH, substituting the last subframe with a first subframe usable for determining the start subframe to transmit the PUSCH after the identified last subframe, based on the determination that the identified last subframe is not used for determining the start subframe; determining the start subframe to transmit the PUSCH, based on the first subframe other than the last subframe, and transmitting the PUSCH repeated over a plurality of subframes starting from the determined start subframe.

Abstract: The present specification provides a reception method of a machine type communication (MTC) device. The reception method can comprise the steps of: receiving a control channel through the entire system bandwidth on first and second orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols of a subframe; and determining whether to receive a data channel only in a reduced bandwidth compared with the system bandwidth from the third symbol of the subframe. At this point, when the control channel does not continue up until a third symbol of the subframe, the data channel can be received in a reduced bandwidth compared with the system bandwidth from the third symbol of the subframe.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for receiving a downlink message in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives scheduling information for a downlink message via a dedicated common search space (D-CSS) in a first narrowband from a network, and receives the downlink message in the second narrowband from the network. The D-CSS may schedule resources for random access response (RAR)/Msg4 and initial configuration of UE-specific configurations before UE-specific narrowband (NB) is configured. CSS in UE-specific NB may schedule resources for RAR/Msg4/paging and reconfiguration of UE-specific configurations after UE-specific NB is configured.
