    摘要: A method for inserting parity into an FCH is disclosed. A method for inserting parity into a frame control header includes channel-encoding, by an additional channel encoder, a frame control header bit applied to a legacy encoder, and generating an additional codeword, and mapping the codeword generated by the legacy encoder and the additional channel encoder subcarrier mapping codeword to subcarriers. This method inserts parity into the FCH, and defines a new FCH, such that it extends an FCH coverage simultaneously while maintaining a compatibility with a legacy system. Also, it may add additional energy to a legacy FCH or may give a coding gain to the same legacy FCH, such that it can extend information transferable using reserved bits of the FCH.

So, it effectively obtains a diversity and a scheduling gain when distributed and localized resource allocations are simultaneously used, such that it increases flexibility of resource allocation, increases an available data transfer rate, and reduces an amount of necessary control information.

    摘要: A method of transmitting cyclic prefix length information when wireless access systems having different cyclic prefix lengths coexist is disclosed. The method of transmitting cyclic prefix length information comprises including the cyclic prefix length information in a preamble; and transmitting the preamble to a receiving end, whereby a transmitter can notify the receiving end of a current cyclic prefix length. Also, in a specific interval where a super frame header is defined, a single cyclic prefix length is used in a legacy support mode and a legacy disable mode, and cyclic prefix length information of other data or control channel is included in the super frame header and then transmitted to the receiving end. If different CP lengths are used in a legacy support mode of an evolved system, it is possible to solve a problem in detecting a control channel or a data channel, which may occur as the CP lengths are not distinguished from each other after preamble detection.

When a part of the existing cell IDs are reserved, conjugate symmetry is also considered in relation to a primary synchronization channel and ambiguity and collision are also considered in relation to a secondary synchronization channel.
