    Abstract: An electrolyte includes a dinitrile compound, a trinitrile compound, and propyl propionate. Based on the total weight of the electrolyte, the content X of the nitrile compound and the content Y of the trinitrile compound meet the conditions represented by Formula (1) and Formula (2): {about 2 wt %≤(X+Y)≤about 11 wt % . . . (1), about 0.1≤(X/Y)≤about 8 . . . (2)}. The trinitrile compound includes at least one selected from the group consisting of: 1,3,5-pentanetricarbonitrile; 1,2,3-propanetrinitrile; 1,3,6-hexanetricarbonitrile; 1,2,6-hexanetricarbonitrile; 1,2,3-tris(2-cyanoethoxy)propane; 1,2,4-tris(2-cyanoethoxy)butane; 1,1,1-tris(cyanoethoxymethylene)ethane; 1,1,1-tris(cyanoethoxymethylene)propane; 3-methyl-1,3,5-tris(cyanoethoxy)pentane; 1,2,7-tris(cyanoethoxy)heptane; 1,2,6-tris(cyanoethoxy)hexane; and 1,2,5-tris(cyanoethoxy)pentane. The electrolyte is capable of effectively inhibiting the increase in DC internal resistance of an electrochemical device so that the electrochemical device has excellent cycle and storage performance.

    Abstract: An electrolyte includes a fluorinated cyclic carbonate, a chain carboxylate and a multi-nitrilemulti-nitrile compound having an ether bond. Based on a total weight of the electrolyte, a weight percentage (Cf) of the fluorinated cyclic carbonate is greater than a weight percentage (Cn) of the multi-nitrilemulti-nitrile compound having an ether bond. The electrolyte can control the expansion of the electrochemical device, so that the electrochemical device has excellent cycle, storage and/or floating-charge performance.

The electrolyte of the present application includes a lithium salt, an organic solvent and additives, the additives include a fluorinated ether compound and an ester dimer compound, the ester dimer compound includes carbonate dimers, carboxylate dimers and sultone dimers. The lithium battery adopting the electrolyte of the present application can realize the object of high voltage, of which the highest normal working voltage can be improved to 4.4˜5.0V, and the lithium battery has good cycle performance, such as higher capacity retention rate at charge or discharge and improved service life.

    Abstract: The present application provides a lithium ion battery and a negative electrode thereof. The negative electrode comprises: a negative electrode active material layer and an additive comprising a metal sulfide, wherein the additive is distributed in the negative electrode active material layer, distributed on the surface of the negative electrode active material layer, or both in the negative electrode active material layer and on the surface of the negative electrode active material layer. The negative electrode of the present application may effectively improve the performance of the lithium ion battery, and greatly improve the capacity and cycle performance of the lithium ion battery.

    Abstract: The embodiments of the present application provides a wound electrode assembly formed by winding a first electrode sheet, a second electrode sheet, and an isolating membrane disposed therebetween.
