Abstract: According to an example embodiment, a method may include determining, by a wireless node in a cell, a silent resource pattern for each of a plurality of signal waveform types including at least a single carrier waveform type and a multicarrier waveform type, wherein each silent resource pattern identifies one or more resource elements that are indicated as unused by at least one node of the cell for the signal waveform type; determining, by the wireless node, whether a signal waveform type, of the plurality of signal waveform types, for channel sensing is known by the wireless node; performing, by the wireless node if a signal waveform type for channel sensing is known by the wireless node, channel sensing based on a silent resource pattern for a known signal waveform type for channel sensing of the plurality of signal waveform types; and otherwise, performing, by the wireless node if the signal wave form type for channel sensing is not known by the wireless node, channel sensing based on a silent resource pattern for each of a plurality of the signal waveform types.

Abstract: This document discloses a solution for reducing peak-to-average power ratio in a radio device. According to an aspect, an apparatus includes circuitry configured for performing: acquiring a block of modulated symbols to be transmitted over a radio interface; transforming the block of modulated symbols from a time domain into a frequency domain for sub-carrier mapping; performing a time-domain peak detection procedure on the block of modulated symbols before said transforming; upon detecting at least one peak in the block of modulated symbols during the time-domain peak detection procedure, computing a peak correction signal for the block of modulated symbols and allocating the peak correction signal to one or more sub-carriers dedicated to the peak correction signal in the sub-carrier mapping; and upon detecting no peak in the block of modulated symbols during the time-domain peak detection procedure, omitting said computing and said allocating.

Abstract: In accordance with example embodiments of the invention as disclosed herein there is a method and apparatus to perform at least identifying, by a network node, a need to perform an uplink transmission within a channel occupancy time of radio channel, wherein the network node is scheduled for performing an uplink transmission, and wherein the identifying comprises identifying an energy level of a gap of channel occupancy time of radio when indicated in downlink control information; based on the identifying, setting a duration of a transmission in the channel occupancy time of radio channel; and performing the uplink transmission based on the set duration of the transmission.

Abstract: A method for grouping of CS (and comb values) for DM-RS and SRS on shared time-frequency resources is described. The method includes dividing a RS space into at least a first region and a second region. The method also includes allocating, from the first region, a DM-RS sequence CS and/or a DM-RS comb for a DM-RS; and allocating, from the second region, a SRS sequence CS and/or a SRS comb for a SRS. The DM-RS and the SRS are on the same resources on an uplink shared channel (such as a PUSCH for example). The RS space comprises at least one of a CS set and a IFDM comb set. The CS set and/or the IFDM comb set of the first region is based at least in part on a number of physical resource blocks allocated to the uplink shared channel. Apparatus and computer readable media are also described.
