    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station and while operating in a dual connectivity mode, an uplink grant in a first subframe of a set of subframes. The uplink grant may schedule transmission of uplink data. The UE may determine a second subframe of the set of subframes to transmit the uplink data and a third subframe of the set of subframes to monitor for feedback associated with transmission of the uplink data. The second subframe and the third subframe may be determined based on combinations of a primary cell time division duplex (TDD) uplink-downlink (UL-DL) configuration and a DL-reference UL-DL configuration. each of the combinations may have at least three uplink transmission subframes or three downlink monitoring subframes within a ten-subframe cycle. The UE may thus perform wireless communications in accordance with the transmission timelines.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A non-terrestrial network (NTN) device (e.g., a satellite, base station) may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), at a first frequency a synchronization signal block (SSB) that indicates a second frequency of a control resource set (CORESET) relative to the SSB, where the second frequency is based on one or more of: a CORESET bandwidth, a combination of a first parameter associated with a first portion of the SSB and a second parameter associated with a second portion of the SSB, or both. The UE may monitor the CORESET at the indicated second frequency for a downlink control channel transmission. The NTN device may transmit, to the UE, a downlink control channel transmission over the CORESET. The NTN device may transmit, to the UE, system information based on the downlink control channel transmission.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) receives one or more downlink signals using a first beam associated with a first set of frequency resources, switches from the first beam to a second beam associated with a second set of frequency resources, selects a set of frequency resources for transmitting feedback information associated with the one or more downlink signals, and transmits the feedback information to the base station using the selected set of frequency resources. In some examples, the UE transmits one or more uplink signals to a base station using a first beam associated with a first set of frequency resources, switches from the first beam to a second beam associated with a second set of frequency resources, and determines whether to send a retransmission of the one or more uplink signals based at least in part on switching.

    Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to configuring a media access control (MAC)-control element (CE) to update a sounding reference signal (SRS) beam within a wireless communication system. Other aspects described herein relate to configuring default beam information for determining a beam for data channel communications within the wireless communication system. A user equipment (UE) or other device can determine to use the default beam information for configuring the beam for a data channel communication and for performing power control using, e.g., physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) parameters. In addition, in some examples, the device can transmit the data channel communication using a beam configured based on the default beam information.
