The method includes rendering an image template on the display for determining a position of the target object in an image to be captured using the device; capturing a first image of the target object using the image sensor and displaying the captured first image on the display while keeping the image template on the display; extracting one or more features associated with the position of the target object from the captured first image; determining whether the one or more features extracted from the captured first image match the image template; and generating an alert signal in accordance with a determination that at least one of the one or more features extracted from the captured first image matches the image template.

    摘要： The Bad News concealment Holster allows a licensed person to use a newspaper in a plastic delivery bag to conceal a handgun for legal self-defense. The handgun will be secured in nylon sleeve holster, by a retention strap with a pull tab release using hook & loop to attach the strap and to secure the holster to the metallic belt. The metallic belt will be placed around a section of the newspaper, for example, the sports section, this is then slid back into the remaining newspaper that is in a delivery bag, and adjusted by the user to allow access to the firearm through the open end of the paper and bag. By using a newspaper to discreetly conceal a legal handgun for licensed self defense, a persons firearm may be accessable but not in plain view as required by many states concealed carry laws. For lagal carry in a vehicle, briefcase etc. the Bad News Concealment Holster will give a legal, licensed person a different and unique option for concealed carry.

    摘要： An apparatus for the ultrasonic testing of internal areas of prefabricated composite assemblies as described. The composite assemblies have one or more internal areas formed therein. The apparatus includes at least one receive transducer, at least one transmit transducer, a vertical member, a support member slidably attached to the vertical member, a pair of substantially parallel hollow rods, and an ultrasonic testing system. Each rod comprises a transducer attachment end with receive transducers attached to the transducer attachment end of a first rod, and transmit transducers attached to the transducer attachment end of a second rod. The rods are slidably attached to the support member and manually movable with respect to a composite assembly to be tested. The ultrasonic testing system is coupled to the receive transducers through the first rod, and coupled to the transmit transducers through the second rod.

    摘要： A surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensor includes a transducer (240 provided on a substrate (23), wherein the transducer (24) is oriented on the substrate (23) so that the direction of acoustic wave propagation is such that the variation of sensor output with temperature, associated with the variation of the substrate third-elastic constants with temperature, substantially equal but opposite to the sum total of the variation of sensor output with temperature associated with the substrate linear temperature coefficient of expansion and with the variations with temperature of the substrate non-zero third order elastic constants, the substrate first-order elastic constants and the substrate density. The effect of temperature variation on sensor output is thereby minimized. This is achieved with a 35-degree arrangement or with reflective gratings inclined at an angle of 3.1 degrees to normal. Additionally, a robust package with a dish is given. Particular applications include the measurement of torque.
