    摘要: A plasma display panel includes first and second substrates, address electrodes formed on the first substrate, display electrodes formed on the second substrate, barrier ribs formed between the first and second substrates to define discharge cells, each of which acts as a subpixel, and phosphor layers deposited in the discharge cells to form red, green, and blue subpixels. The ends of each subpixel have a first width, and a center area of each subpixel has a center width. The center area of one of the red, green, or blue subpixels is formed having a second width that is smaller than the first width, and the center area of another one of the red, green, or blue subpixels is formed having a third width that is larger than the first width.

    摘要: A plasma display device, which is capable of improving a discharge efficiency of a plasma display panel by increasing a partial pressure of Xe. When the partial pressure of Xe is increased, a proportion of (Xe-Xe)* dimer emitting a 147 resonance line is higher than that of Xe* monomer emitting a 173 nm molecular beam. Particularly, when the partial pressure of Xe is above 10%, the discharge efficiency is improved by setting a frequency of a sustain discharge pulse applied to scan electrodes and sustain electrodes alternately during sustain period above 300 kHz.

    摘要: A plasma display panel has red R, green G, and blue B subpixels arranged in a triangular configuration. The plasma display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate separated from each other by a predetermined distance. Barrier ribs form a discharge space between the first substrate and the second substrate so that subpixels forming a pixel are arranged in a triangular configuration. Address electrodes may be formed on the first substrate and display electrodes may be formed on a surface of the second substrate to cross the address electrodes. A phosphor layer may be formed in the discharge space. An aspect ratio of the pixel is a horizontal pitch of the pixel divided by a vertical pitch of the pixel, and the aspect ratio of the pixel is in a range of about 0.8 to about 1.0.
