摘要: An ink cartridge and an ink cartridge holder for maintaining the relative position between the information reading section of the ink cartridge holder and the information storing unit of the ink cartridge, which should be aligned accurately, even if the ink cartridge has instability to the ink cartridge holder due to the variation in each products. The ink cartridge which supplies ink to a recording apparatus includes: a substantially rectangular parallelepiped ink cartridge main body holding the ink; a connection electrode section provided on a part of a first side of the ink cartridge main body and including a connection terminal; an ink supply unit provided in a front surface which intersects the first wall; and a positioning section guiding a positioning member of the recording apparatus to the vicinity of the connection electrode on the front surface so that the positioning member opposes to the connection electrode section in the direction parallel with the connection electrode section.

摘要: A recording apparatus has a feeding unit for storing and feeding a recording medium, a recording unit for recording information on the recording medium having been fed from the feeding unit, and a discharging unit for discharging outside the recording medium having been transported through the recording unit. In the recording apparatus, a warping part for warping the recording medium and supporting parts for supporting both side edges of the recording medium warped by the warping part are formed on a guide member disposed downstream of the recording unit.

摘要: A fulcrum shaft 61 and a recessed sheet member 64, which together constitute an ejected paper receiving unit that is rotatable force forward and backward within a range extending from a front receiving position and a rear receiving position. When an operator rotates the ejected paper receiving unit 6 forward and sets it at the front receiving position, a print sheet that is ejected by a paper ejection unit 4 is accepted while sliding forward along the sheet member 64. And when the operator rotates the ejected paper receiving unit 6 to the rear and sets it at the rear receiving position, a print sheet ejected by the paper ejection unit 4 is accepted while sliding to the rear along the sheet member 64.

摘要: In an n-th primary scanning (forward trip) the rasters by white circle dots are formed. After this primary scanning, printing paper is conveyed toward a secondary-scanning-direction downstream side by the secondary scanning distance which is the same as the interval d between dots, and in the (n+1)-th primary scanning (backward trip) after the conveyance, the rasters by black circle dots are formed. Subsequently, the printing paper is conveyed toward the secondary-scanning-direction downstream side by a secondary scanning distance of (2N−1)·d, and in the (n+2)-th primary scanning (forward trip) after the conveyance and the (n+3)-th primary scanning (forward trip) after the conveyance by a secondary scanning distance d, white circle and black circle dots are formed, respectively. Thus, an image is printed in units of two adjacent rasters formed by the same nozzles.

摘要: A total of 64 nozzles are arrayed in the secondary scanning operation in a surface of a recording head. The upstream nozzles #62 to #64 and the downstream nozzles #1 to #3 are disposed on the same primary scan line through four times of secondary scanning operations, thereby forming the overlapping raster. Nozzles #62 and #1 form dots in a ratio of 3 to 2 in number. Nozzles #63 and #2 form dots in a ratio of 1 to 1. Nozzles #64 and #1 form dots in a ratio of 1 to 3.

摘要: The ink jet printer is provided which eliminates play between a carriage supporting an ink jet head and a guide shaft, allows the ink jet head to be releasably attached to the carriage, and provides reliable electrical connection between the ink jet head and the carriage with a reduced number of parts. An embodiment of the ink jet printer of the invention includes a guide shaft extending in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which paper is forwarded. A carriage is slidably mounted on the shaft, moving in reciprocal directions while being guided by the guide shaft. An ink jet head, releasably attached to the carriage, prints ink dots on the paper for forming a printed image by jetting ink out of nozzles. A first electrically connecting portion is arranged on the carriage. A second electrically connecting portion is arranged on the ink jet head so as to come in pressure contact with the first electrically connecting portion. A biasing member provides a pressing force between the first electrically connecting portion and the second electrically connecting portion.
