The device group manager is operable to notify the usage information in response to an inquiry from the application.

摘要： A POS terminal apparatus is adapted to be connected to an external device. An application is running in the POS terminal apparatus. A device manager determines whether the external device is capable of counting a first value indicating a usage amount of the external device, and if so, the device manager acquires the first value from the external device in response to a first command from the application. A counter retains a second value indicating the usage amount of the external device and notifies the second value to the application in response to a second command from the application. If it is determined that the external device is not capable of counting the first value, the counter virtually counts the second value in accordance with a third command sent from the application to the external device. An updater updates the second value with a third value which is obtained by a fourth command from the application with reference to the first value acquired by the device manager. The first value is retained when the second value is updated with the third value.

摘要： A pusher 13 has a leaf spring 12, a driving section 22, a direction changing section 23, and guides 24. The driving section 22 nips the leaf spring to longitudinally advance and retract it. Advancement of a fore end of the leaf spring 12 in a pushing direction causes the object facing the leaf spring to be pushed from a first position to a second position. A direction changing section 23 bends the tail end of the leaf spring relative to the fore end so as to change the direction of advancement and retraction. Guides 24 guide the fore and tail ends with respect to the direction changing section.

An electrode auxiliary layer (14) is formed on the connecting portion (12b). The heating resistor (13) and the electrode auxiliary layer (14) are covered with an overcoat layer (16) which is, in turn, covered with a protective layer (17). The connecting portion (12b) of the common electrode (12) directly contacts both the glaze layer (11) and the upper surface (10a) of the substrate.

The inner plug has a discharging pipe (21) and an engaging circumferential wall (22) which engages to the circumferential walls of the measuring chamber, and the discharging pipe (21) and engaging circumferential wall is constituted by being connected with the bottom wall of measuring chamber (23). The measuring cap is assembled by engaging the inner plug to the cap main body by inserting from below, and engaging the supply pipe (5) to the lower end of the discharging pipe (21).
