摘要: Embodiments of the present technique can provide a mobile device and a method of establishing a connection via a core network by a mobile terminal. The method comprises receiving by the mobile terminal in a first cell an identifier assigned by a node in a first core network of a first type, the identifier comprising an identifier of the node or a group of nodes in the first core network, selecting a second cell in which service via a core network of a second type is available, and determining whether service via a core network of the first type is available from the second cell. The method further comprises establishing a connection via the second cell by transmitting a message including a first indication, the first indication based on at least a portion of the identifier, and when service via a core network of the first type is not available from the second cell, transmitting in the message a second indication, the second indication indicating that the identifier was received from a core network different from the second type, without identifying the first type of core network.

摘要: A terminal device configured to receive a radio signal from which measurements can be used to assist in determining a position of the terminal device. The terminal device detects one or more system information blocks carrying position assistance information transmitted from the infrastructure equipment and estimates the position of the terminal device by combining the identified position assistance information with the radio signal received by the position detection receiver circuitry. Furthermore the terminal device receives from the infrastructure equipment an indication of relative risk that the position assistance information will change, and in response to the indication of the relative risk that the position assistance information will change to adapt the receiving of the one or more system information blocks to receive an updated version of the position assistance information in accordance with the relative risk.

摘要: At least one information block is received from a base station of a network, the at least one information block indicating one or more first resources (511) and one or more second resources (512) for a random-access procedure, the second resources (512) being offset from the first resources (511) by a time gap (550). A preamble (2011) of the random-access procedure is transmitted to the base station using the one or more first resources (511) and data (2012) is transmitted to the base station using the one or more second resources (512).

摘要: A wireless communication device (10) controls changing of a connection of the wireless communication device (10) to an access node (100) of the wire-less communication network between: a relay based connection to the access node (100), and either a direct connection to the access node (100) or another relay based connection to the access node (100). The relay based connection extends via a device-to-device communication link (30) between the wireless communication device (10) and a first further wireless communication device (40). The other relay based connection extends via another device-to-device communication link (30′) between the wireless communication device (10) and a second further wireless communication device (40′). Further, the wireless communication (10) sends an indication to the access node (100). The indication enables the access node (100) to identify an existing Packet Data Convergence Protocolcontext, which was utilized before changing the connection, and to continue utilizing the existing PDCP context after the changing of the connection.

摘要: An access node of a mobile communication network controls access of a group of user equipments to the mobile communication network. The access node selects one or more of the user equipments of the group as candidate user equipment for supporting mobile edge computing. The access node then sends an indication of the one or more candidate user equipments to a mobile edge computing server. The mobile edge computing server receives the indication and selects at least one target user equipment for execution of computational tasks from the candidate user equipments. The mobile edge computing server then distributes a computational task to the selected at least one target user equipment.
