摘要: Current detecting circuits are provided for all phases of a motor driving circuit. A motor control portion is provided with a correction value calculating unit for calculating a correction value by dividing a total sum of motor current values based on detecting signals detected by the current detecting circuits of all the phases by a number of the phases of a motor and a motor current value correcting unit for correcting the motor current values by subtracting the correction value from the motor current values based on values of currents actually flowing in the respective phases of the motor. 摘要: The torque sensor outputs a sinusoidal first alternating signal the phase of which changes in accordance with change in the rotation angle of a first shaft, and a sinusoidal second alternating signal the phase of which changes in accordance with change in the rotation angle of a second shaft capable of performing relative rotation, elastically, with respect to the first shaft. A phase difference correspondence signal the waveform of which changes in accordance with change in the phase difference between the first alternating signal and the second alternating signal is output. A value corresponding to the torque transmitted by the first and second shafts is determined from the phase difference correspondence signal. This value corresponding to the transmitted torque is corrected on the basis of a value corresponding to the difference between a first distortion indicator value which changes in accordance with the waveform distortion in the first alternating signal and a second distortion indicator value which changes in accordance with the waveform distortion in the second alternating signal.

摘要: Disclosed is a vehicle steering apparatus (1; 301) equipped with a control device (12; 322) which controls the actuation of an electric motor (18; 317). First and second housings (23, 24 325, 312), which are in contact with each other, partition off an accommodation chamber (100; 324) which contains the control device (12; 322). The first housing (23; 325) is at least one part of the motor housing (25; 323). The first housing (23; 325) includes a first interior wall surface (101; 401) which partially partitions the accommodation chamber (100; 324). The second housing (24; 312) includes a second interior wall surface (102; 402) which partially partitions the accommodation chamber (100; 324). The first and the second interior wall surfaces (101, 102; 401, 402) are opposite each other with respect to the axial direction (X1) of a rotatable shaft (37; 352) of an electric motor (18; 317). The second interior wall surface (102; 402) includes the flat annular surface that surrounds a central axis (C1) of the rotatable shaft (37; 352) and an extension (C2) of the central axis (C1). The flat circular surface is orthogonal to the central axis (C1) and the extension (C2) of same.

摘要: An electric power steering apparatus (1) comprises a control device (12), which controls driving of an electric motor (18) based on the detection signals from a rotational position-detecting sensor (72; 72A), which detects the rotational position of the rotor (64) of the electric motor (18), and a steering status detecting sensor (11; 11A). The control device (12) is housed in a housing (100) that is partitioned by a first housing (23), which is at least a portion of the motor housing (25) for the electric motor (18), and a second housing (24; 24A; 24B) that touches the first housing (23). At least one of the rotational position-detecting sensor (72; 72A) and steering state detecting sensor (11; 11A) is connected to the control device (12) by means of only a signal wire (81; 134) inside the first housing (23) or the second housing (24; 24A; 24B).

摘要: In a controller for an electric power steering apparatus, a target value calculation element, which calculates target values of the drive currents of a motor on the basis of a detected value of the steering torque, is constituted by a first integrated circuit provided in a chip. A drive signal value calculation element, which calculates drive signal values for driving the motor on the basis of the target values calculated by the target value calculation element, detected values of the drive currents of the motor, and a detected value of the rotary position of a rotor of the motor, is constituted by a second integrated circuit provided in another chip from the chip. A driving element drives the motor in accordance with the drive signal values. The first integrated circuit is connected communicably to the second integrated circuit. The calculation cycle of the drive signal values is set to be shorter than the calculation cycle of the target values.
