摘要: A system and method to securely deliver software updates to an appliance are provided. The system comprises a key generator, a reporting module, and a certificate signing request (CSR) module. The key generator may be configured to generate, at the processing system, verification data for the processing system. The reporting module may be configured to communicate the verification data from the processing system to a verification database. The certificate signing request (CSR) module may be configured to obtain a signed certificate from a certificate authority (CA) based on the verification data stored in the verification database.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for performing protocol conversions in an environment including a work machine having one or more modules coupled to one or more data links. Such methods and systems may leverage one or more gateways to perform tunneling, translating, and bridging operations. Tunneling processes may include receiving a message from a source module in a first protocol, encapsulating the message within transmission units of a second protocol, and transmitting the encapsulated message via the second protocol. Translating processes may include receiving, by the gateway, a message in a first data link protocol including a parameter identifier. The gateway may match the parameter identifier with a parameter identifier included in a translation table and scale associated parameter data using a scale factor corresponding to a second data link protocol. The gateway may then provide the scaled parameter data to a module using the second data link protocol.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for selecting a steering method for an earthmoving machine having a blade and first and second tracks. One embodiment of the present invention includes selecting a steering method based on the position error of the machine. In another embodiment of the present invention the steering method is selected based on the elevation of the work implement, and the position error.

摘要: A method for forming a blade tip on a turbine blade of a gas turbine engine includes providing a powder alloy from a family of environmentally-resistant powder alloys and forming the blade tip by melting and fusing the powder alloy to the turbine blade. The blade tip alloys preferably have a chemical composition of, in weight percent, about 14 to about 18 percent chromium, about 6.45 to about 6.95 percent aluminum, about 9.75 to about 11.45 percent cobalt, about 5.95 to about 6.55 percent tantalum, about 1.85 to about 2.35 percent rhenium, about 0.05 to about 1.75 percent hafnium, about 0,006 to about 0.03 percent zirconium, about 0.02 to about 0.11 percent carbon, up to about 1.1 percent silicon, up to about percent 0.01 percent boron, with the balance being nickel and typical impurities.

摘要: A hat holding device has a generally circular ring adapted to encircle a hat. The ring is pivotally mounted on lateral supports of a hanger member. The ends of the lateral supports have loops that project downwardly and terminate in a generally horizontal U-shaped body. The U-shaped body extends into the interior of the hat to support the hat and retain the hat inside of the ring. The mid-portion of the hanger member has a downwardly turned hook adapted to be placed on a support to remove the hat from the risk of damage.
