    摘要： An electrical connector mounted on a printed circuit board including an insulative housing (1) provided with a receiving cavity (16) and a number of passageways (121), and a number of contacts retained in the housing. The contacts have a first contact (21) including a first base portion (210) and a first soldering portion (213) extending downwardly from the first base portion, a second contact (22) having a second base portion (220) and a second soldering portion (223) extending downwardly from the second base portion. The first soldering portion includes a first protrusion portion (216) projecting from only one side edge thereof along a first direction. The second soldering portion includes a second protrusion portion (226) projecting from only one side edge thereof along a second direction opposite to the first direction. The first protrusion portion and the second protrusion portion together form a latch portion for fixing with the printed circuit board.

The housing defines a plug-insertion hole (12) in a longitudinal direction thereof. The contacts include a second contact (22) and a third contact (23). The second contact includes a second retaining portion (220) and a second elastic arm (221) extending into the plug-insertion hole. The third contact includes a third retaining portion (230) and a third elastic arm (231) extending opposite to the second elastic arm. The second and third retaining portions (220, 230) overlap each other along the longitudinal direction of the housing (1), thereby lengthening the elastic arms (221, 231) of the contacts (22, 23) to be reliable connecting with the mating plug.

    摘要： An electrical connector comprises an insulative housing, a number of conductive contacts, a shell and a rear cover. Receiving slots are disposed in the insulative housing for receiving the conductive contacts. Positioning grooves are defined at a rear lower side of the insulative housing, and a number of bumps are disposed on opposite inside surfaces thereof to interferingly retain soldering sections of the conductive contacts. A stabilization device, stamped and formed from a bottom forward surface of the shell, aids in providing a stable mounting of the electrical connector on the printed circuit board. Thus the electrical connector is prevented from slanting forward on its mounting, assuring proper operation.

The insulative box has a receiving cavity, a bottom wall under the receiving cavity, a plurality of walls surrounding around the receiving cavity, at least a supporting portion located in the walls, a locking slot defined between the supporting portion and one of the walls, and a resilient locking portion received in the locking slot. A cover covers the cable connecting box and comprises a latching portion protruding outwardly from a side of the cover to lock with the resilient locking portion in the locking slot. In this arrangement, the junction box is convenient for users service.
