    摘要: Antenna elements are provided along a linear line at regular intervals to be parallel to each other. The antenna elements receive signals transmitted from a communicating partner and output the signals to a receiving beam former. In the receiving beam former, phase shifters phase-shift the received signals input from the antenna elements of an even element number by π. A combiner adds the received signals that are phase-shifted by π in phase shifters and the signals input from the antenna elements of an odd number to form a received beam. With this configuration, it is possible to realize an array antenna apparatus of a small and simple configuration that reduces the radiation of radio waves to the human body and to other equipment and that is influenced little by the human body and by other equipment.

    摘要: Two conducting lines are arranged in a ring form in a TEM-mode transmission line. The end of one of the lines is connected to the end of the other line with opposite polarity, thus forming a resonator for resonation in a half-wavelength mode. This structure, free of line discontinuity which lowers the Q value, can provide a resonator having a high Q value equivalent to that of the one-wavelength resonator. Moreover, it is satisfactory to provide a half of a length of the one-wavelength resonator. Accordingly, the structure of the resonator has reduced size but little Q-value deterioration.

    摘要: A beacon slot position control section of a radio communication apparatus constituting a radio network system which detects whether empty beacon slots are present in a beacon period. When an empty beacon slot is present before the period in which the radio communication apparatus transmits a beacon, a movable counter starts counting a specified number of super frames. When the count is completed, the radio communication apparatus transmits a beacon of the radio communication apparatus at the earlier empty beacon slot. Consequently, since the empty beacon slots are eliminated and the beacon period is compacted, even if the number of radio communication apparatuses joining the radio network system fluctuates dynamically, the radio communication apparatus can perform radio communication with high efficiency and less waste of consumed electricity.

A transport signal generating timing adjusting part of the master side communication apparatus acquires, from the slave side communication apparatus, synchronization signal generation timing information used when the slave side communication apparatus receives the transport signal from the master side communication apparatus. The transport signal generating timing adjusting part varies and adjusts, based on the acquired information, the transmission timing of the signal to be transmitted to the slave side communication apparatus. A transmitting part transmits the transport signal at the adjust transmission timing. The occurrence timing of the transport signal is varied and adjusted until the slave side communication apparatus becomes able to receive the transport signal from the master side communication apparatus.
