摘要: A transmitter apparatus wherein a simple structure is used to successfully suppress the degradation of error rate performance that otherwise would be caused by fading or the like. There are included encoding parts (11—1-11—4) that encode transport data; a mapping part (3304) that performs such a mapping that encoded data sequentially formed by the encoding parts (11—1-11—4) are not successively included in the same symbol, thereby forming data symbols; and a symbol interleaver (3301) that interleaves the data symbols. In this way, a low computational complexity can be used to perform an interleaving process equivalent to a bit interleaving process to effectively improve the reception quality at a receiving end.

摘要: Provided is a radio communication method capable of optimally using the wide-band communication enabled time while maintaining power saving in an ad hoc network. According to this method, in the ad hoc network using the wide-band communication and a narrow-band communication, transmission and output of the narrow-band synchronization tone signal and the resynchronization tone signal are controlled so that the reach radius of the narrow-band synchronization signal and the resynchronization tone signal exceeds the reach radius of the wide-band signal (milli-wave UWB signal). Thus, when radio communication devices pass by each other, super frame synchronization is completed before reaching the wide-band communication enabled range of the ad hoc network, thereby optimally using the wide-band communication-enabled time.

摘要: A UWB transmission apparatus that, in a system using a mixture of amplitude and phase modulation schemes, can support both of the amplitude and phase modulation schemes, while preventing the signal powers of amplitude-modulated signals from degrading. In this UWB transmission apparatus, if the modulation mode is of QPSK, a mapping part (121) selects one of four signal points on the IQ plane in accordance with a 2-bit data, and outputs information related to the I- and Q-components of the selected signal point to a QPSK/ASK modulated signal forming part (122). If the modulation mode is of ASK, the mapping part (121) selects the origin point on the IQ plane when the data being ‘0’ and selects one of four signal points on the IQ plane, similarly to the case of QPSK modulation, when the data being ‘1,’ and outputs information, which is related to the selected signal point, to the QPSK/ASK modulated signal forming part (122).

摘要: A filter device is made up of: a filter portion having a fluid outlet at its axis, and a fluid inlet in a position away from the axis, in which a fluid containing particles is supplied at a predetermined flow speed from the fluid inlet to cause a swirling, particles are moved outward in a centrifugal state and the fluid from which the particles are separated is discharged from the fluid outlet, and the particles separated by slowing down the swirling are allowed to sink; and a settlement portion in which the particles that settle in the filter portion are allowed to settle. Thus, a fluid containing particles is supplied at a predetermined flow speed to cause swirling, the particles are separated by a centrifugal force caused by the swirling and allowed to sink and settle, and the fluid from which the particles are separated is discharged. A large amount of particles can be allowed to settle and be reliably removed in a short time with this small-sized and simple device. The filter device does not clog, does not need washing and exchanging work and keeps the costs low.
