Abstract:
A text message transmission apparatus and a method thereof are provided. The text message transmission apparatus includes a mobile network communication module, a subscriber line interface circuit (SLIC) module and a processor. The mobile network communication module receives a text message. The SLIC module is configured to connect to a traditional telephone set in a public switched telephone network (PSTN). The processor is coupled to the mobile network communication module and the SLIC module. The processor decodes the text message to obtain a text content of the text message, transforms the text content into a speech content, and plays back the speech content through the SLIC module. Accordingly, the text messages can be transmitted through the PSTN.
Abstract:
A fixing bracket for signal connector adapted to fix a signal connector to a circuit board is provided. The fixing bracket includes a base, a fixing member protruding from a bottom surface of the base and at least two engaging sets protruding from a top surface of the base. The fixing member is adapted to pass through and interfere with the circuit board. Each engaging set includes a first restricting surface and a second restricting surface which are adjacent to each other and perpendicular to the top surface, and a third restricting surface parallel to the top surface. The two first restricting surfaces, the two second restricting surfaces and the two third restricting surfaces of the two engaging sets are used for respectively contacting two first surfaces, two second surfaces and two third surfaces of the signal connector so as to fix the signal connector.

A fixing bracket for signal connector adapted to fix a signal connector to a circuit board is provided. A signal detection method for a communication apparatus and a signal detection system are provided. The signal detection method is suitable for controlling a test apparatus through an electronic apparatus to run a test on the communication apparatus. In the signal detection method, a designated test apparatus option corresponding to a designated test apparatus is selected from plural test apparatus options. A designated communication protocol is selected from plural wireless communication protocols. A test request is generated according to a model of the designated test apparatus and the designated communication protocol. The test request is transmitted to the designated test apparatus, so that the designated test apparatus performs an initialization process. The designated test apparatus is controlled to perform a signal detection process on the communication apparatus, so that the designated test apparatus generates a detection result. The detection result is received from the designated test apparatus and stored.

A data transmission selection circuit and method select one of data transmission lines between a mother system and daughter systems and transmit data via the selected transmission line. The circuit includes an inputting module, an outputting module, a switching unit, and a processing unit. The inputting module receives and sends the data. to the switching unit and the outputting module. The processing unit receives a previous switching status data (indicating that one of the data transmission lines and one of the daughter systems are connected and) created by a previous data transmission selection circuit. After analyzing the previous switching status data with an algorithm, the processing unit determines a switching status data. different from the previous switching status data, such that the switching unit connects another one of the data transmission lines and another one of the daughter systems according to the switching status data.

A testing fixture is provided, which is adapted to adjust the position of an object to be tested and includes a first translation mechanism, a second translation mechanism and a height-adjusting mechanism. The first translation mechanism is able to move along a first axis, the second translation mechanism is disposed at the first translation mechanism and is able to move along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis, and the height-adjusting mechanism is disposed at the second translation mechanism and adapted to hold the object to be tested and is able to move along a third axis perpendicular to the first axis and the second axis.

A wireless communication device with an antenna structure includes a wireless communication device body and an antenna. The antenna includes a first flexible laminate substrate, a second flexible laminate substrate, and an antenna metal layer. The antenna is disposed on a surface of a case of the wireless communication device body through the second flexible laminate substrate. The antenna metal layer is disposed between and is in contact with the first flexible laminate substrate and the second flexible laminate substrate. With the antenna disposed on the surface of the case of the wireless communication device, it is feasible to reduce the space required to accommodate an internal circuit of the wireless communication device, enhance the efficiency of the antenna for transmitting and receiving signals, and display any pattern on the outer surface of the antenna.

A heat-dissipating casing for a communication apparatus accommodates a circuit board having a power element and includes an insulating case, a lid coupled to the insulating case, and a thermally conductive metal member. The insulating case has a receiving space, a first opening, and a second opening. The first and second openings communicate with the receiving space. The thermally conductive metal member is fixed to the inside of the insulating case, seals the second opening, and dissipates heat generated by the power element. The heat-dissipating casing is effective in dissipating heat, characterized by its low weight and low production costs, and conducive to protection and dust prevention.

A pin and a plug having the pin allow a body of the plug to enclose the pin integrally. The plug includes the body and the pin. The body has a receiving space therein for receiving the fixing segment. An insulation portion extends outward from the external surface of the body. The pin is plate-shaped and defined with an inserting segment, a fixing segment, and a burying segment therebetween. The burying segment has a burial hole and barbs, and is buried in the insulation portion. The fixing segment protrudes into the receiving space. The inserting segment is exposed from the insulation portion. The pin and the plug cut costs, speed up a manufacturing process thereof, and allow the body to be formed by a single injection molding process and thus enclose and fix the pin in place firmly.

A universal serial bus pre-determining circuit for determining whether a universal serial bus is connected to a host or a device includes an input unit, a detection unit, a processing unit, and a switch unit. The input unit is connected to the host or the device. Once the input unit is connected to the host, the detection unit will enable the host, allowing the host to generate and send a synchronous signal to the input unit. Once the input unit is connected to the device, no synchronous signal will be generated. The processing unit determines accurately whether the universal serial bus is connected to the host or the device by judging the synchronous signal.
