Abstract:
A method of data processing for securing local resources in a mobile device. The method includes: a) when network connectivity is available: coupling the mobile device with a first identity module associated to a first International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), receiving in the first identity module a network challenge from a communication network, ciphering the network challenge using a secret key, and sending a corresponding response to the network for subsequent successful authentication, b) after a successful authentication to the communication network: associating at least a part of the local resources to the first IMSI, and storing, in a database of the mobile device, authentication data related to the challenge/response duplet, granting access to local resources associated to the first IMSI.
Abstract:
Obtaining information relating to a local environment of a terminal of a local network and to providing the terminal, via an application server, with at least one service adapted both as a function of the information relating to an access session of the terminal and the information relating to a local environment of the terminal. The local environment information of the terminal is obtained from an autoconfiguration server via a session server and it is provided to the application server.
Abstract:
A method implemented by a terminal for accessing a CSG femtocell of a first access network. The terminal includes a list containing identifiers of CSG femtocells to which an access right is defined. The method includes: scanning a frequency band for discovering CSG femtocells; decoding, based on a key, a data stream broadcasted from the CGS femtocells; obtaining, based on the decoded data stream, an identifier of the CSG femtocells; and determining, based on the list, whether the terminal has authorised access to the discovered femtocells. The frequency band, the key or the list is determined based on a message received from a remote server via a second cellular access network different from the first access network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for controlling the shaping of encoding noise during the ADPCM encoding of a digital audio input signal. The noise-shaping is carried out through the use of feedback that comprises filtering noise. The method includes the following steps: obtaining a parameter for indicating a high spectral dynamic range of the signal, the parameter indicating a risk of instability of the feedback; detecting a risk of instability by comparing the indication parameter to at least one predetermined threshold; limiting the feedback in the event that a risk of instability is detected; and gradually reactivating the feedback over a predetermined number of frames subsequent to the current frame for which the feedback is limited. Also provided is an encoder with feedback, including a control module implementing the control method as described.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a terminal for assisting in the positioning of a near-field communication module of a terminal in relation to an electromagnetic transponder placed in an environment. The method comprises a step of acquisition by the terminal of at least one image of visual information representative of the placement of the transponder, a step of analysis of the acquired image to determine a position indicating the placement of the transponder in the environment, a step of determination of at least one movement of the terminal to be performed so as to position the communication module in such a way that a communication can be set up between the communication module and the transponder and a step of restoration of information representative of the at least one movement to be performed.
Abstract:
A technique for locating equipment connected via a high-speed line to a distributor device of fixed and predetermined position. The technique involves measuring signal attenuation between the equipment and the distributor device, and estimating the position of the equipment relative to the distributor device, deduced from this attenuation measurement.
Abstract:
A method of managing a system provides a minimum service in the system. The system includes a set of pieces of equipment including data-gathering equipment and/or equipment that is to be controlled, the pieces of equipment being connected to a management module via respective first communications links. The management module is suitable for determining a control command as a function of data received from at least one piece of data-gathering equipment via a first communications link and for transmitting the control command to at least one piece of equipment that is to be controlled. The method is adapted to detect an absence of application signaling activity from the management module over a predetermined time period and to trigger a minimum service by sending an alert message to at least one piece of equipment of the system.
Abstract:
This method of managing public identities in an information transmission network (11) of internet type implementing an SIP protocol for establishing data transmission links between said network and equipment for managing a group public identity (10) connected to this network is characterized in that it comprises: —a prior step of recording a group common public identity representative of at least one group of several individual public identities managed by said management equipment (10), at a public identities record management server (12); —a step of verifying a request to establish an incoming call, said request containing a numbering sequence, intended to verify whether said sequence corresponds to a recorded group public identity; and a step of sending said request to a contact address corresponding to the recorded group public identity.
Abstract:
A method is provided for communication between at least one source entity and one destination entity, in a cooperative network that includes a plurality of entities. The method includes a step of determining, for a given entity of the network, a temporal variation of an impulse response of a transmission channel established between the given entity and another entity. The method further includes: a step of determining a temporal variation of an impulse response of at least one global transmission channel intended to be established between the source entity and the destination entity and passing through at least one relay entity, on the basis of the temporal variations of the impulse responses of the transmission channels; and a step of selecting a global transmission channel from among the set of global transmission channels determined.
Abstract:
A method is proposed for exchanging a data set between a transmitting module, associated with a first domain, and a destination module associated with a second domain. The transmitting module and the destination module are adapted to be loaded into a browser module having access to a local database for recording data and accessing the data recorded by one or more modules belonging to a single browsing domain and to any module loaded in the browser module that is also associated with said single browsing domain. The method comprises the following steps: storage, by a storage module associated with a third domain, of the data set in the local database; requesting a receiving module, associated with the third browsing domain, to read the data set; reading, by the receiving module, of the data set in the local database.
