    摘要: An axial flow fan has each of its fan blades provided with an integrally formed centrifugal element which extends substantially parallel to an imaginary plane containing a central axis of the fan. Some of the air flow passing through the fan collides against the centrifugal elements, which deflect the air in the radial directions. A disk-like air barrier is thus formed around the fan blades, whereby a countercurrent flow and circulation flow are eliminated. The fan efficiency is also improved.

Various kinds of bending working can be applied efficiently and accurately to a metal tube of a small diameter to be worked by a simple method and with an apparatus of a simple structure.

The socket member comprises a cylindrical member pushing the seal member, engaging support claw walls protruding forward, and an inclined cylindrical wall spreading forward. When the tube is connected, the engaging support claw walls engage with the swelling annular wall of the tube.

    摘要: A connector for slender piping members is disclosed. A spacer, seal rings and a bushing are inserted into the end of one piping member to be connected. The leading end portion of the one piping member is fitted in the outer circumference of the bushing. The end portion of the other piping member to be connected is pushed into the axial core of the bushing. An annular flange portion formed on the outer circumference of the other piping member is held in abutting engagement with an annular wall of a socket body, which in turn is abutted against the front face of the bushing. The circumferential wall portion of the one piping member is clamped by stepped oblique walls inside the connector body. The socket body has a plurality of elastic pawl walls projecting obliquely in the connecting direction. An annular wall formed integrally with the pawl walls is engaged by a retaining wall of the connector body. Thus, the piping members are connected by engaging the flanged wall of the piping member with the pawl walls of the socket body.

The body includes a cylindrical joint wall defining a bore and a continuous cylindrical wall defining a stepped enlarged chamber in communication with the bore. The cylindrical wall includes a plurality of rearwardly extending holder walls having pawls. The enlarged chamber is configured to receive a seal and a bushing. A support includes a central hole, and a plurality of holes in surrounding relation to the central hole. When a pipe extends through the central hole, the peripheral wall of the central hole is engaged with an annular projection wall formed adjacent one end of the pipe, and the pawls are engaged with the holes of the support. The support may be in the form of a disk or in the form of a flanged cylindrical member.

According to the invention the apparatus can be installed in a relatively small space and the long continuous metal blanks can be successively subjected to the heat-treatment efficiently.
