摘要: A resin piping assembly including a base divisional component having first and second half components having respective first and second interfacial surfaces formed along an oil passage, and first and second divisional components which have respective third and fourth interfacial surfaces formed along the oil passage, and which are bonded to the respective first and second half components. Each of the base divisional component, and the first and second divisional components is formed of a resin material, and the first and second interfacial surfaces are spaced apart from each other, and open in respective opposite directions. The base divisional component further includes a cylindrical connecting pipe portion having a connecting passage portion which is a part of the oil passage and which is provided for communication between the first and second passage portions. Also disclosed is a process of forming the resin piping assembly.

摘要: A sterile connection device includes first and second carriages. The first carriage defines a first portion of a proximal slot and a first portion of a distal slot, while the second carriage defines second portions of the proximal and distal slots. A controller executes a sterile connection procedure in which a solid cutting blade is heated, followed by the heated blade being moved to a cutting position to cut sealed proximal and distal tubes received by the slots. The second carriage moves proximally or distally with respect to the first carriage so as to align the cut ends of the tubes. The heated blade then moves out of the cutting position, followed by the first carriage moving toward the second carriage so as to press the cut ends of the tubes into contact with each other so as to sterilely connect the cut ends and define a joined tube.

摘要: A connector for facilitating fluid transfer includes first fitting, a second fitting, a rigid conduit, a first retaining connector, and a second retaining connector. The rigid conduit includes a flexible tube surrounded by a deformable sleeve. The rigid conduit is connected on a first end to the first fitting and on a second end to the second fitting. The first retaining connector connects the first fitting to the rigid conduit and the second retaining connector connects the second fitting to the rigid conduit. A lumen extends through the rigid conduit and is capable of being sealed. The rigid conduit and the flexible tube are capable of being severed while maintaining the seal of the lumen to separate the first fitting from the second fitting. The connections of the first fitting and the second fitting to the rigid conduit are capable of withstanding at least 1 bar of pressure without leaking.

摘要: An apparatus and method for joining pipes includes a plate for melting mating surfaces of the pipes to be joined. Additionally, the apparatus utilizes a vacuum in order to push the first and second pipes together in lieu of hand or mechanical pressure which may be inconsistent. Additionally, the vacuum allows the pipes to be joined to settle on each other in order to create a pressure about a periphery of the end of the pipe being joined to the other pipe. The consistent pressure creates a very strong joint between the first and second pipes.

The method involves induction heating of at least one conductive welding element (4), arranged at the interface (3) between the two contact surfaces, by generating a magnetic field at said conductive welding element or elements, such that the melting of the thermoplastic materials constituting said contact surfaces produces a continuous and sealed weld at said interface on at least one closed loop along the entire perimeter of said interface.

摘要: A resin tube is prepared. Further, a formation tool having a pressing surface and a projection that projects from the pressing surface and is insertable into the resin tube is prepared. The projection of the formation tool is inserted from an end of the resin tube into the resin tube. The pressing surface of the formation tool is pressed against an end surface of the resin tube. Thermal energy is applied to the end of the resin tube, whereby a shape of the pressing surface of the formation tool is transferred to the end surface of the resin tube, and the end of the resin tube is formed into a flange shape.

摘要: An exhaust pipe structure for an in-line four-cylinder internal combustion engine includes: an in-line four-cylinder internal combustion engine; four exhaust pipes connected with respective exhaust ports in respective cylinders of the internal combustion engine; and a converging exhaust pipe connected with a converging portion at which downstream ends of all the exhaust pipes converge. In this exhaust pipe structure, the exhaust pipes are each configured as a dual pipe including an outer pipe and an inner pipe disposed inside the outer pipe. At the converging portion, the four exhaust pipes are arrayed linearly in parallel with each other, and the outer pipes of adjacent ones of the exhaust pipes are directly welded with each other at the downstream ends.
