    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a cabinet door that preferably includes a panel, reinforcing members, fasteners, adhesive tape, hinges, and a handle. The panel preferably defines an outer perimeter and has a continuous channel formed therein. The reinforcing members are preferably positioned in the continuous channel and substantially within the outer perimeter. The panel preferably has a plurality of threaded bores formed therein, and the reinforcing members preferably have a plurality of passages formed therethrough in axial alignment with the plurality of threaded bores. The fasteners preferably extend through the passages into the threaded bores to secure the reinforcing members to the panel. The hinges and the handle are preferably secured to the panel, and the tape preferably adheres to surfaces of the reinforcing members flush with the outer perimeter.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a sheet (1) intended for protecting purposes, comprising a bottom-forming part and a number of wall-forming edge portions, which each individually are foldable, via a scoring serving as a hinge, between a starting position in the same plane as the bottom part, and a folded-up position at an angle to the bottom part for forming a wall (6, 7). Characteristic of the invention is that in the area of an individual edge of the sheet, a set of several of parallel scorings (10, 12) that are placed close to each other is arranged, and an arbitrary scoring of which may be selected in order to form a hinge between the bottom part and a wall. In the area of a corner of the sheet, the individual scoring set (9) is intersected by at least one single, transverse scoring (8), secondary scorings extending from the intersection points between the transverse scoring (8) and the various, primary scorings (10) in the scoring set (9) at an acute angle to the primary scorings, in order to facilitate formation of two triangular joint sections, overlapping each other, in connection with a corner between two folded-up walls (6, 7).

    Abstract: A raised wall panel which includes a frame, a raised panel and a molding positioned between the two. The frame, having four frame members, is arranged in a "picture frame" configuration and attached to plywood fixed to a wall structure. The frame members are constructed of a base material, such as composition board or inexpensive plywood, which is covered by a decorative wood veneer. The raised panel is positioned within the frame using a spacing tool to ensure that the open area between the frame and the raised panel is uniform and the raised panel is attached to the plywood. The raised panel is also constructed of a base material which is covered by a decorative wood veneer. The molding has a built-up frame portion having a frame lip and a built-up panel portion having a panel lip. The molding is then positioned between the frame and the panel section such that the frame lip overlaps the frame member and the panel lip overlaps panel section. The frame lip and the panel lip cover the cut edges of both the frame and the raised panel, respectively, thus giving the appearance that the raised wall panel was formed from a piece of solid wood.

    Abstract: A decorative panel is for a cabinet, cupboard or the like which includes a plurality of edge frames having mitered ends. A central panel element has a plurality of edges and each of the edge frames has an internal groove for respectively receiving one of the edges therein. Each of the edge frames has a laminated surface material secured to an outer surface thereof. The laminated surface material on each of the edge frames has a terminal portion which is located within the internal edge groove. The edge frames surround the center panel element as the edges are respectively located within the internal edge grooves of the edge frames. Each of the edges of the center panel element secures the terminal portions of the laminated surface material within the internal edge groove. The mitered ends of adjacent edge frames have aligned slots in aligned areas of the outer surfaces thereof which include the laminated surface material. A device for interlocking the mitered ends is disposed within the aligned slots for joining the adjacent edge frames. The device for interlocking the mitered ends includes a portion for overlying the aligned slots and the laminated surface material thereabout.

    Abstract: A panel for use as a temporary room divider or screen is formed by adhesively securing to one face of a first rectangular sheet of rigid material, along each of two opposing edges, one face of a tongue of an edging strip having a body providing an outwardly open channel, and fitting a second similar rectangular sheet over and in register with the first sheet, so that two opposing edges of the second sheet also lie along the edging strips. The tongues of the edging strips are stuck to the sheets, and the sheets stuck to one another, by double sided adhesive tapes of appropriate thicknesses. After the two sheets have been stuck together and to said edging strips, cloth or the like covering material is stuck to the outer face of each sheet and surplus edge portions of the cloth or the like are tucked between the edging strips and the adjacent edges of the sheets of rigid material.
