摘要： A hand operated dry wall taping tool includes a tubular main body portion, to be held by the operator, with a tape applicator head portion at one end thereof. The tool is supplied with dry wall tape cement from a supply thereof under pressure. A supply roll of dry wall tape is carried from the main body of the applicator, the tape is fed through the applicator head onto the wall joint to be taped. In the applicator head, a pair of tape drive wheel portions engage the tape and press it against the wall for taping a seam between two adjacent sections of dry wall. As the drive wheels pull the tape through the applicator head, dry wall cement is applied by the applicator head to the side of the tape which is to engage the wall. In one embodiment, a spring biased swivel roller presses the cement laden tape into engagement with the wall as the tape is applied to the seam. In an alternative embodiment, a flexible resilient wiper blade carried from the head presses the cement laden tape into engagement with the wall and in addition feathers the cement onto the dry wall along both side edges of the tape with but a single pass.

摘要： A dry wall tape dispenser is utilizable with a bucket-type container of dry wall taping compound of the kind used for bulk shipment and storage. The dispenser includes a support structure for interengagement with portions of the container and includes an arrangement for supporting and positioning a roll of uncoated dry wall tape above the container for unrolling of tape into the compound. The structure includes an extension which protrudes into the container, the extension including a guide for guiding the unrolled tape so that the tape passes into the compound to a point proximate the bottom of the container for thorough coating. The apparatus is provided also with a scraper proximate the opening having an edge for scraping one face of the coated tape to wipe the compound from such face so that only one face of the tape remains coated as the tape is pulled from the opening. Various arrangements utilizing electric motor-driven pinch rolls are disclosed for pulling the coated tape from the opening, or such pulling may be manually effected.

摘要： A tape dispenser for applying paper lined electrically conductive pressure sensitive adhesive tape or foil on a flat surface for forming a part of an electrical alarm system. The dispenser includes a housing having a tape storage chamber in which is rotatably mounted a roll of paper lined pressure sensitive adhesive foil. The housing has an extension on the front side thereof through which the tape is dispensed. A pressure member is mounted on the housing extension over the point at which the tape is discharged from the housing extension, for use in pressing the tape on a flat surface as it is discharged from the dispenser. The dispenser includes means for stripping the paper liner from the foil as the foil is fed from the roll in the dispenser.

摘要： A portable edge bander for bonding polyester, vinyl or wood veneer trim edging to profile contours. A hand held device including a thermostatically controlled electric heater and a supply of tape-like trim. The tape is preheated by the heater as the operator moves the machine along the edge of the material to be covered. A triggered cutter cuts the tape automatically after the completion of the operation. The size of the apparatus is minimized by storing the tape above the working surface and transporting it by a series of rollers to the under side of a plate from which it is bonded onto the working surface.

摘要： A tape dispenser for applying electrially conductive adhesive tape or foil on a flat surface. When applied on a flat surface, the tape forms a part of an electrical alarm system. The dispenser includes a housing having a tape storage chamber in which is rotatably mounted a roll of tape. The housing has an extension on the front side thereof through which the tape is dispensed. A pressure member is mounted on the housing extension over the point at which the tape is discharged from the housing extension for use in pressing the tape on a flat surface as it is discharged from the dispenser. The housing is provided with a guide means for guiding the dispenser in a straight line. The guide means is used for engagement with a window frame for guiding the dispenser as it moves over the window pane. The tape dispenser can also be used for making a right angle turn when applying tape to a flat surface.

摘要： A wallpapering method and dispenser therefor which is adapted to be set on the floor and when so positioned, wallpaper is pulled upwards from the dispenser and pressed against a wall. The dispenser includes an anti-skid resilient base mat, a rotatable mounting gripping the ends of a roll of wallpaper and a paste application roller running in a reservoir for paste. The wallpaper is fed from its mounting over the paste application roller and then past a brush positioned in the dispenser for smoothing the applied paste and removing any excess thereof.

In particular, the apparatus is to be used for applying wall-paper of the type which is provided with an adhesive backing material consisting, for example, of polyvinyl acetate. In use, the apparatus is pressed against the positioned wall-paper and is moved over it. It includes a heater which softens the adhesive material, a roller or resilient strip which presses the wall-paper against the substrate surface and a cooler which cools and solidifies the adhesive backing material.
