Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus for automated vehicle wheel removal and replacement are provided. One system includes a computer system with applications for scheduling the replacement of tires for the vehicle. An electronically controlled lift device and robotic apparatus is configured for interaction with the computer system. The lift device mechanically adjusts arms for placement on lift points of vehicles. The robotic apparatus detects positioning of lug nut configuration for a wheel, removes lug nuts, and then removes the wheel from the wheel hub with gripping arms. The wheel and tire are then handed off to a separate tire changing machine. When a new tire is replaced the robotic apparatus then mounts the wheel to the original wheel hub, and then secures the lug nuts to the lug nut bolts.

Abstract: A lawn mower lift is provided for lifting one end of a lawn mower to enable a person to gain access to the underside of the lawn mower to perform maintenance or repair tasks on the lawn mower. The lawn mower lift includes first and second upstanding post members having a support rail extending between the upper ends of the post members. A horizontally disposed wheel is vertically slidably mounted on each of the post members for supporting a pair of wheels of the lawn mower thereon. A winch is mounted on the support rail and has a pair of winch cables secured to the wheel supports. The winch, when operated in a first direction, raises one end of the lawn mower. The winch, when operated in a second direction, lowers the lawn mower.

Abstract: An apparatus configured to lift vehicles having various wheels bases and axle configurations is provided. The apparatus includes a vehicle jack which includes a support frame having a base portion and a lifting-frame-support portion. The vehicle jack also includes a lifting frame having a vehicle part engaging portion and a sleeve mounted adjacent the lifting-frame-support portion so that the sleeve moves along a path defined by the lifting-frame-support portion. The vehicle jack also includes a winch mounted adjacent to the support frame and a flexible member mounted adjacent to the winch so that when the lifting frame is in a first position and the winch is activated in a first direction, the winch moves the flexible member so that the flexible member exerts an upward force on the lifting frame. The upward force moves the lifting frame adjacent the lifting-frame support portion in an upward direction to a second position.
