    摘要: A level gauge for determining the level of a liquid in a vessel includes lenticular lens assembly allowing a plurality of level indicator flags enclosed therein to be viewed from a wide angle. The indicator flags have an elongated body manufactured from a sheet of material, and form a central pocket for retaining a magnet, and pins on either end for mounting within a frame. A mounting frame positions the lens assembly whereby an open channel is formed between the lens assembly and a back plate. The mounting frame is mounted to the vessel using spacers forming an open gap between the mounting frame and vessel. The open channel and gap minimize the transfer of heat from the vessel to the level gauge. The passage of a float with a magnet on the liquid in the vessel rotates the flags.

The processor processes measurement values in a data structure and performs functions to actuate the motor and sensor. The data structure represents a quasi-unique topographical measurement project, and is configured with the measurement values, including a radius value R which defines an area, a start point value X and a stop point value Y for positioning the screw carriage, a speed value S for speed of advancement of the screw carriage, an interval value I for measurement interval, and a points value N for points of measurement per measurement interval.

    摘要: A liquid gauge mechanism of the type primarily designed to be used in containers utilized for maintaining or growing plants therein wherein the casing of the gauge mechanism is at least partially submerged within the root system and surrounding liquid so as to indicate the level of liquid within the container. An indicator element is movably disposed within the hollow container of the gauge mechanism and has indicia formed thereon so as to be viewable through the casing of the indicator means. The level of liquid within the container is the same as the level of liquid within the casing. The indicator element being floatable within the casing serves to position the indicia thereon in aligned relation with a window or viewing portion through the casing so as to indicate the level of the liquid relative to the root system of the plant maintained within the container.
