摘要: A fine water discharge device of a human body which discharges fine water to the human body includes: fine water generating units being brought into a moisture absorption state and a moisture release state in which moisture is absorbed in, and is released from, a conductive polymer film due to a decrease and an increase in temperature, respectively and disposed in parallel; a blowing unit blowing air so that air flows through the fine water generating units; an electrifying portion individually electrifying the fine water generating units so that a temperature of each fine water generating unit is changed depending on electrification; and a control portion controlling the electrifying portion and the blowing unit so that the fine water generating units are individually switched between the moisture absorption state and the moisture release state to discharge the fine water by blowing air.

摘要: A hydrogen-containing gas supply system includes one or more hydrogen-containing gas suppliers, one or more acquirers, and a controller. The one or more hydrogen-containing gas suppliers supply a hydrogen-containing gas to one or more areas in a building. The one or more acquirers acquire information indicating that a person is present in the one or more areas. When it is determined that a person is present in a certain area of the one or more areas in accordance with the information acquired by the acquirers, the controller causes at least one of the one or more hydrogen-containing gas suppliers to supply the hydrogen-containing gas to the certain area.

摘要: Methods for treating fluid overload in a subject comprise shifting fluids directly and non-invasively from an interstitial compartment of the subject to skin of the subject through controlled local sweating. Methods of the invention allow for removal of excess fluid from the interstitial compartment of the subject and treat fluid overload in the subject. Sweat stimulation systems comprise a chamber and first and second relative humidity sensors. The chamber is sized to fit around a body part of a subject, comprises an inlet and an outlet, and is configured such that air flows through the chamber from the inlet to the outlet. The first relative humidity sensor is operably located inside the inlet, and the second relative humidity sensor is operably located proximate the outlet.

摘要: An ozone generator for a hot tub, the ozone generator comprising an elongate body comprising an inlet and an outlet to define a flow path therealong and first and second electrodes spaced apart to define a gap therebetween, said gap being provided along the flow path. The ozone generator is configured to apply an electrical charge to the first and second electrodes, in use, to generate an electric arc discharge across the gap. The ozone generator further comprises a shielding arrangement configured to isolate the first and second electrodes from the electric arc discharge generated during use. By isolating the electrodes from the electric arc discharge, they are shielded from surface oxidation and subsequent corrosion caused by the electric arc discharge, thereby improving service life.

摘要: A device is provided for controlling the nitric oxide levels within the lungs of a subject. The device comprises a detector for detecting the respiration cycle of the subject and a stimulator for applying an acoustic or vibratory stimulus to the subject. The stimulator is controlled in dependence on the detected respiration cycle. In particular, acoustic stimulation may be provided at the onset of inspiration. In this way, the nitric oxide flow can be controlled in a way to ensure that the paranasal nitric oxide is nearly fully inspired. This provides a higher nitric oxide concentration in the lung/alveoli.
