    摘要: The cutting machine for cutting logs of web material, includes a cutting head arranged along the feeding path of the logs. The cutting head includes a coupling for a disc-shaped cutting blade and is designed to impart the disc-shaped cutting blade a rotary motion around the axis thereof and a cyclic movement to cut the logs into single rolls, and to allow the logs to move forward along the feeding path. The machine also includes a store unit for disc-shaped cutting blades associated with the cutting head. A handling member is provided to remove a worn disc-shaped cutting blade from the cutting head and replace the worn disc-shaped cutting blade with a new disc-shaped cutting blade taken from the store unit.

    摘要: A slitter apparatus comprises: a threaded shaft disposed to extend in a sheet-width direction; a rotor threadingly engaged with the threaded shaft; a frame rotatably holding the rotor and configured to be moved in the sheet-width direction by rotation of the rotor; and a processing module supported by the frame. The processing module is constructed by assembling together multiple components which comprise: a width-direction movement motor for rotating the rotor to move the processing module in the sheet-width direction; a slitter knife for slitting the corrugated paperboard sheet; a rotational drive motor for driving the slitter knife; and an up-down movement motor for moving the slitter knife in an up-down direction, wherein these components are configured to be integrally detached from the frame.

    摘要: A blade sharpening system for log saw machines is provided. An example multiphase grinding wheel has a grinding face with one or more abrasive concentric rings for sharpening the cutting blade of the log saw machine, and one or more padded concentric rings consisting of fiber padding. Sharpening with the multiphase grinding wheel improves cut quality, increases blade life, removes glues and varnishes from the cutting blade, reduces blade deformation, and hones the edge of the cutting blade. A pneumatic tensioning system uses air bladders to apply a dynamically cushioned pressure between the grinding wheels and the cutting blade. The fiber-padded grinding wheels and the air bladder tensioner provide improved sharpness of the cutting blade and longer life for the mechanical components. The padded grinding wheels decrease fire risk, and the tensioner can be operated remotely, decreasing human injuries common with conventional setup actions near the sharp cutting blade.

    摘要: A punch element is mounted for sliding movement in the guide sleeve or casing with the punch point at its lower end for forming or punching a workpiece. A stripper element is located at the lower end of the guide sleeve which defines the casing of the punch assembly, and the stripper element has an opening aligned with the punch point through which the punch point passes to engage the workpiece. A matrix placement chamber is provided within the casing between the punch point and the guide sleeve so as to at least partially surround the punch point and at least one flexible lubrication matrix body is contained in the matrix placement chamber inside the housing. The matrix which is enclosed entirely within the casing of the unitary punch assembly in which the punch reciprocates comprises an integral porous elastic multi-cellular polymeric body containing a multiplicity of hollow communicating cells adapted to hold a lubricant in fluid communication with the sidewalls of at least the point of the punch and in a preferred form completely surrounds the punch point. The lubrication matrix can also hold a cleaning agent or an abrasive in particulate form.

    摘要: An ultrasonic trimming apparatus is composed of an articulated robot, a cutting apparatus, and a grindstone. The cutting apparatus is composed of an ultrasonic oscillator supported by the end portion of the robot, a cutter blade which is supported by the ultrasonic oscillator, and a workpiece securing portion which secures a workpiece. The grindstone is disposed within the movable range of the cutter blade driven by the robot and is placed in a position at which the cutter blade can pressure contact the cutter blade. The cutter blade is ultrasonically vibrated by the ultrasonic oscillator and is ground while being pressed against the grindstone by means of the articulated robot. The ultrasonic trimming apparatus efficiently cuts a sheet material composed of soft material such as plastic, fabric, or rubber, a composite material, or a material containing glass fiber even when the material has a three-dimensional shape.
