Abstract:
A housing and tray assembly for holding coffee pods. The housing has a rectangular shape formed by a wire frame. A tray is removably inserted into an opening in the front of the housing. The tray has pairs of dividers defining rows running from the front to the back of the tray. The dividers in each pair are spaced apart a distance so the lips on coffee pods in adjacent rows do not abut. The dividers defining each row are spaced apart so the coffee pods are suspended on the lips of the coffee pods or spaced apart to squeeze and hold the coffee pod body to suspend the coffee pod in the row.
Abstract:
There is presented a device and method for filling and advancing a series of containers including a first container and a next container. The device includes first and second assemblies having first and second restraining members respectively. The assemblies are positionable relative to each other in an object-receiving configuration in which the first restraining member and the second restraining member are inserted into the first container, and at least partially define a gap therebetween for deposition of an object. They are also positionable in a transitional configuration in which the second restraining member is raised relative to the first restraining member, and a lower portion of the second restraining member is positioned above and behind a leading internal face of the next container; and a container advancement configuration in which at least part of the second restraining member is in contact with and applying an advancement force to the leading internal face of the next container.
Abstract:
Methods for filling packagings with at least one medication includes receiving filling instructions for an order and operating an automated packaging station to fill a plurality of packagings making up an order. Operating the automated packaging station includes positioning a plurality of cassettes containing the medications needed for the order onto a feeder base at a single filling location, and moving each of the plurality of packagings to the filling location. The operation also includes actuating at least one of the cassettes at the feeder base simultaneously and according to the filling instructions when each packaging is located at the filling location. Automated packaging stations operable to perform the above filling instructions are also provided.

Abstract:
A device for placing portion packets of a product for oral use into a container includes a portion packet positioning unit configured to position the portion packets in relation to each other in the container, wherein the positioning unit includes a set of portion packet receiving compartments arranged in a certain pattern, each of the compartments having an entrance end allowing a portion packet to enter the compartment and, at an opposite side of the compartment, a retaining end preventing a portion packet from exiting the compartment in that direction. The positioning unit further includes a discharging member configured to discharge portion packets from the compartments to the container, wherein the compartments are associated with a supporting structure that retains the compartment pattern during operation of the device. A method an arrangement for placing portion packets of a product for oral use into a container using such device is described.
Abstract:
A package for pharmaceutical products, in particular for parenteral products (prefilled syringes, flacons, ampoules, vials, bottles), comprises a supporting body forming at least one compartment for containing a parenteral product made from a single-sheet blank, preferably made of paper-based material, which has a base face, an upper face and a plurality of lateral faces which are connected to the base face and/or to the upper face, said upper face having at least one opening made in it and comprising at least one foldable portion defined by cutting lines of the upper face and/or by crease lines and delimiting a portion of the opening to form a cavity designed to receive the parenteral product, the supporting body being able to switch between a non-operating condition in which it has a planar profile which minimises its dimensions, and an operating condition in which: the supporting body is substantially box-shaped; the foldable portion is folded inside the supporting body so that together with the opening it forms the compartment for containing the parenteral product and allows the parenteral product to be removably constrained in the cavity in the containment compartment.
