Abstract:
A feeder chain for the supply of all types of consumable material to units that move on tracks. The chain comprises a plurality of chain links and has a continuous inner space for feed lines, whereby the chain links have pivotably interconnected outer side pieces that are provided with stops for delimiting the mutual pivot angle. Each chain link is provided with two detachable crosspieces for interconnecting the outer side pieces thereof. The crosspieces are tubular pieces that are insertable via a force fit onto projections of the outer side pieces.
Abstract:
A device at exhaust-gas extraction hoses for extracting the exhausts from the exhaust pipe on a vehicle, whereby the exhaust-gas extraction hose (1) is adapted to be retained at the vehicle (4) in an exhaust-gas extracting position (A), whereby the exhaust-gas extraction hose (1) includes a retaining device (8) which can be located on the vehicle (4) spaced apart from the exhaust pipe (3) and whereby an end portion (6) of the exhaust-gas extracting hose (1) includes and/or cooperates with a tightening device (7) which can by tightened by bending and/or stretching the end portion (6) in an exhaust-gas extracting position (A) when the retaining device (8) is attached to the vehicle (4). The tightening device (7) comprises at least one spring (10) which can be stretched in such a way that said spring, when the retaining device (8) is attached to the vehicle (4), affects the end portion (6) of the exhaust-gas extracting hose (1) in axial direction (B) or in substantially axial direction (B) such that the end portion (6), through a support (11) mounted thereon and/or through its end edge (12), is held with pressure against the end edge (13) of the exhaust pipe (3) and/or against vehicle part (14) situated adjacent the end edge (13) of the exhaust pipe (3).
Abstract:
In combination, a cable/hose retention clip and a chain link of a cable/hose handling chain, the chain link having a body including a top wall spaced from an opposed bottom wall by a side wall to define a compartment for housing a cable/hose and having an open side opposite said side wall through which the cable/hose may be inserted into the compartment, the clip being insertable into the compartment through said opening to an engaged position whereat the clip releasably engages with the top and bottom walls, wherein the clip is moulded from plastics and has a relatively rigid body portion and a pair of relatively flexible resilient arm portions depending therefrom, the body portion being arranged to extend between the top and bottom walls to close said open side when the clip is in said engaged position, said arm portions having latch formations co-operable with latch formations on the top and bottom walls for restraining withdrawal of the clip through said open side from the engaged position, the rigid body portion being connected to the top wall and bottom wall by inter-engaging formations which co-operate to restrain outward displacement of the top and bottom walls from one another.
Abstract:
A dragchain substitute in the form of a line guiding assembly comprising at least one line receiving channel for receiving at least one line loosely disposed therein. At least one of the channel walls of each line receiving channel is designed in projecting manner and resilient towards the channel interior relative to a channel wall supporting it, such that the line can be urged from outside of the line receiving channel through the resilient channel wall and into the interior of the line receiving channel and is enclosed in the line receiving channel after said resilient channel wall has resiled.
Abstract:
A multiple hose assembly including a plurality of hose portions which are disposed in a first direction in a substantially parallel and a substantially planar arrangement. In addition, the multiple hose assembly further includes a plurality of support members for securing the hose portions in the substantially parallel and the substantially planar arrangement. The support members used for securing the hose portions are disposed in a second direction which is different from the first direction.
Abstract:
An apparatus for horizontally casting concrete comprises a horizontally foldable multilink support arm composed of an attachment frame, a proximal boom, intermediate booms, and a distal boom which are pivotally coupled by joint tubes, a drive mechanism composed of worm wheels mounted on the joint tubes and worm gears mounted on the booms and held in mesh with the worm wheels for enabling the support arm to move in articulatory motion, a concrete pressure-feed pipe extending from a pump along the booms and through the joint tubes with swivel joints, and an attachment jig mounted on the attachment frame for being mounted on a column.
Abstract:
An energy conduit support for an arrangement between a movable load-consumer and a stationary connection, comprising narrow tubular members with outwardly directed abutments and wide tubular members made of two tubular member halves with inwardly directed abutments, which engage behind and can be bent at an angle relative to each other in one direction, a channel being formed by the abutments of the narrow tubular members, the width of the channel determining the radius of curvature. The channel of the narrow tubular members is formed on two opposite side walls of different widths and on the two other side walls conically. The tubular member halves of the wide tubular members are formed alike and turned 180 degrees with respect to each another pushed on the narrow tubular members and connected with each other.
Abstract:
A shackle system for connection of control lines such as high-pressure hydraulic hoses, electrical cables or conduits, and air hoses having a flexible wire rope passing therethrough to which the control lines are attached.
Abstract:
There is provided a device for carrying flexible cables or pipes from a fixed connection point to a mobile consumer. The device consists of a flexible support tube which may be either formed from a profiled strip would on itself with intermeshing edges, or a corrugated tube. In order to limit the flexibility of the tube to one direction, there are provided a series of spacers keeping a longitudinally continuous zone of the tube at a substantially constant length. The tube can thus only bend by compression or extension of the zone immediately opposite the zone of constant length. The spacers may take various forms such as a continuous strip secured to one surface of the tube, or a series of individual spacers entering formations in the tube. The individual spacers may in fact be individually secured to the tube or they may be carried on a strip.
Abstract:
A support system for flexible members such as hydraulic hoses, cables and the like. The system includes an elongated nonmetallic flexible band attached at opposite ends thereof to two relatively movable members between which the hydraulic hoses extend. The flexible non-metallic band includes a plurality of flexible bundling straps, of cloth material or the like, attachable to both the non-metallic band and the hoses so as to produce a relatively self-supporting grouping of hoses and band. When held by the instant support system, the hoses are constrained to move in a plane normal to the axis of rotational movement between the first and second relatively movable members.
