Abstract: Systems and methods for searching digital information dynamically clusters assets based on attributes and/or relationships and shows them in folders. Each cluster level may be based on a different attribute. The basis of cluster formation may be defined by a user. In some embodiments, multiple such views can be defined, and users can switch between different views. Embodiments help users to find insights on data, as well as help users to find errors in data. Actions can be automatically taken based on clustered search results.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for receiving a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) file comprising alphanumeric text and using a configuration file to treat the alphanumeric text as a file system. File system commands may be applied to the alphanumeric text to generate modified alphanumeric text, and a modified JSON file may be generated based on the modified alphanumeric text.

Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein enable users to receive visits from other users in a desktop environment and initiate communication sessions using a drag and drop gesture input to move virtual representations or avatars of other users. For instance, by dragging and dropping an avatar into a file, the user can select the file for sharing and the system can automatically grant appropriate permissions to various users who are invited by the gesture input. The user can additionally grant other users' permission to edit the shared file which is reflected in an update to each user's permission data. In this way, users can communicate and collaborate directly form the social space of a desktop without opening a communication application. Other features include suggestions for files to share based on the context of a conversation, presenting contextual information alongside each user's avatar and suggesting other shared spaces to explore.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to pre-processing of files to better prepare them for the process of comparing fingerprints of fragments of fixed size N from these files to other files that contain similar information but may be structured differently. The pre-processing method and system are applied to files with known protected data before fingerprints of some of the N-fragments from these files are added to the digital fingerprint library and to the unknown files before the fingerprints of some of their N-fragments are compared to the fingerprints of other N-fragments of data stored in the digital fingerprint library.

Abstract: A computing platform is configured to: (i) obtain a plurality of data files; (ii) for each respective data file of the plurality of obtained data files, obtain contents associated with the respective data file and evaluate the contents associated with the respective data file to determine a respective data structure for the respective data file; (iii) compare the determined respective data structures and thereby identify one or more data structure differences among the determined respective data structures for the data files; (iv) based on the identified one or more data structure differences among the determined respective data structures for the data files, determine a revision history for the plurality of data files; and (v) transmit, to a client station, a communication related to the revision history and thereby cause an indication of the revision history to be presented at a user interface of the client station.

Abstract: A file selection user interface (UI) includes a navigation area and a holding area. The navigation area enables a user to navigate between storage locations provided by the file hosting service. Visual representations of files stored by the file hosting service are displayed in the navigation area. The holding area provides a temporary storage area for files upon which one or more operations are to be performed. A user might provide input that causes visual representations of files shown in the navigation area to be added to the holding area. Once the desired files have been added to the holding area, the user may provide user input requesting that the file hosting service perform one or more operations on the files represented in the holding area. In response thereto, the file hosting service can cause the requested operations to be performed on the files represented in the holding area.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to metadata operations in a storage system. An example includes a machine-readable medium storing instructions that upon execution cause a processor to: receive a data stream to be stored in persistent storage of a deduplication storage system; store data units of the data stream in a container entity group object according to arrival time, where the data units of the container entity group object are referenced by a plurality of container indexes; generate a data index to list each container index that references at least one data unit included in the container entity group object; and in response to a determination that the total size of the container entity group object exceeds the threshold size, transfer the container entity group object from memory to the persistent storage.

Abstract: A centralized document system receives a request to merge a first document package associated with a first party and a second document package associated with a second party. The first document package includes a first set of documents and the second document package includes a second set of documents. In response to the request, the centralized document system identifies a first subset of documents included in both the first and second sets of documents and identifies a second subset of documents with conflicts between the first and second sets of documents. The centralized document system rectifies the second subset of documents to cure the conflicts between the first and second sets of documents. The centralized document system generates a merged document package including the first subset of documents and the rectified second subset of documents for execution by the first and second parties.
