摘要: A fertilizer application system for a liquid fertilizer concentrate includes a container containing a first fluid. A siphon is disposed on the container and includes two inlets and an outlet. A flow control valve is configured to selectively control an amount of first fluid flowing through the siphon based on ambient temperature of an environment outside the container. A siphon tube includes a siphon tube first portion in fluid communication with the first fluid, and a siphon tube second portion fluidly coupled to an inlet of the siphon. The first fluid includes a liquid fertilizer concentrate comprising a nitrogen containing source, a phosphorous containing source, a sulfur containing source, a potassium containing source, an iron containing source, and water.

摘要: Granular agricultural compositions formed of a micronutrient, a granular carrier, and a nitrogen source including plant readily available nitrogen are disclosed. The granular agricultural compositions can be a granular herbicidal composition when the micronutrient is a metal chelate. The granular agricultural compositions can reduce metal chelate phytotoxicity and exhibit beneficial greening. Methods of making and using the granular agricultural compositions are further disclosed.

摘要: The present invention relates to improving the efficiency of man-made and/or natural organic-based animal manure fertilizers by administration of formulations containing poly(organic acids), [P(OA)]s, and/or their salts dispersed in a Non-aqueous Organic Solvent Delivery System (NOSDS). Utilizing a NOSDS allows for coating all components in a fertilizer formulation including but not limited to Urea, Manure, mono-ammonium phosphate (MAP), di-ammonium phosphate (DAP), solid micronutrients such as lime, zinc chloride, etc.) with a layer of [P(OA)]s and/or their salts that liberates, in a plant available form, the micronutrient metals and macronutrients, that are bound as insoluble salts and complexes in the soil. The carboxylic groups of a [P(OA)] that can exist within the [P(OA)] as carboxylic acids, carboxylic anhydrides and/or carboxylic imides, dispersed within the NOSDS, can be neutralized with one or more metals in the form of elemental metals, metal oxides, metal hydroxides, metal alkylates and metal carbonates and/or nitrogen containing compounds such as ammonia, ammonium hydroxide or organoamines to form a stable dispersion that can contain completely complexed micronutrients and provide the vehicle for the delivery of these nutrients to soils and/or as a coating to the surfaces fertilizer granules and seeds.

摘要: A granular fertilizer product having at least two sources of boron having different solubilities to tailor boron availability during the entire growing season of a plant, while reducing the risk of boron toxicity. A first source of boron can include a sodium-based or highly water soluble boron compound such as sodium tetraborate and/or boric acid, while a second source of boron can include a calcium-based boron compound such as colemanite (CaB3O4(OH)3.(H2O)) (e.g. when the carrier fertilizer is N- or K-based) and/or boron phosphate (BPO4) (e.g. when the carrier fertilizer is P-based). The solubility of the first source of boron is higher than the solubility of the second source of boron such that the sources of boron have different release rates into the soil.
