摘要: A fertilizer composition, comprising solid granules each including a homogeneous blend of ammonium sulfate, a water insoluble oxide of a micronutrient metal, and a water-soluble sulfate of the micronutrient metal. A method of forming a fertilizer composition, comprising the steps of: combining ammonium sulfate and a water insoluble oxide of a micronutrient metal; granulating the ammonium sulfate and water insoluble oxide of the micronutrient metal in the presence of a liquid to initiate reaction of a portion of the ammonium sulfate with a portion of the water insoluble oxide of the micronutrient metal to form ammonia and a water-soluble sulfate of the micronutrient metal; and producing a fertilizer composition in the form of solid fertilizer granules each comprising a homogeneous blend of ammonium sulfate, the water insoluble oxide of the micronutrient metal, and the water-soluble sulfate of the micronutrient metal.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a soil amendment composition for solubilizing silicate in soil. The soil amendment includes at least one a microorganism capable of solubilizing the silicate, and may further comprise at least one nutrient, binding agent or silica. This combination facilitates a slow release of silicate into the soil. Addition of the soil amendment composition encourages growth of plants, such as Cannabis plants; and may enable plants to better withstand drought, frost winds and other environmental conditions. The present disclosure provides a soil amendment for providing bioavailable silicon that may be applied infrequently.

摘要: A method for preparing a weathered coal-derived humic acid/urea-formaldehyde slow-release fertilizer granule by reactive extrusion process with depolymerization-activation-polycondensation trinity is provided. In an alkaline environment, paraformaldehyde is depolymerized into formaldehyde small molecules, which react with urea to form monohydroxymethylurea and dihydroxymethylurea. Under the strong shearing action of screws of the twin-screw reactive extruder, the macromolecular weathered coal-derived humic acid is depolymerized into relatively small molecule weathered coal-derived humic acid, and abundant active carboxyl groups are exposed, some of which immediately undergo dehydration condensation with —NH2 on the urea-formaldehyde molecule produced by the polycondensation of hydroxymethylurea during the reactive extrusion process to generate weathered coal-derived humic acid/urea-formaldehyde and its granules.

摘要: Processes capable of producing bulk materials suitable for use by the horticulture industry, resulting bulk materials produced thereby, and applications for these processes and materials. Preferred bulk materials have physical properties similar to peat moss and comprise individual materials, each at least partially having a twisted, curled, clumped and rolled structure. The individual materials may further comprise small granular particles dispersed throughout the twisted, curled, clumped and rolled structure. The individual materials may be rolled fibers such that the bulk material has physical properties similar to Sphagnum peat moss so as to be particularly suitable as, for example, a soil conditioner, an absorbent material, a chemical carrier, or a filtering material. Alternatively, the individual materials may be rolled particles such that the bulk material has physical properties similar to milled peat moss so as to be particularly suitable as propagation media.
