    摘要: A hybrid electric drive train for a motor vehicle comprises an engine with a drive shaft, an electric motor operable of motoring and generating, a differential transmission, and a multi-stage transmission with two input shafts and at least one output shaft. The differential transmission includes a planetary gear set, a clutch and a brake. The planetary gearset has a first element connected to the motor and the second input shaft of the transmission, a second element connected to the engine shaft, and a third element connected to the first input shaft of the transmission. The clutch is located between any two elements of the planetary gear set, and the brake is connected to the engine shaft. The transmission has a plurality of gearsets, and the driving gears of odd-numbered gearsets are mounted on the first input shaft while the driving gears of even-numbered gearsets are mounted on the second input shaft. The engine shaft can achieve every gear ratio of the gearsets. In addition, the engine shaft can also achieve a plurality of derivative speed ratios.

In some embodiments, the first gear subassembly includes a sun gear coupled to the input drive shaft, one or more planet gears, and a ring gear as the rotatable gear. In some embodiments, the second gear subassembly includes a sun gear coupled to the output drive shaft, one or more planet gears, and a fixed ring gear.

    摘要: This invention relates to a transmission system for transmitting a driving force from a driving unit D to a driven unit F, a transmission adjustment system for adjusting the transmission system to obtain a continuous shift ratio, a guide cone system for maintaining a concentric circle of a rotation radius when a transmission element such as a chain is rotated, a guide cone/transmission adjustment system and a continuously variable transmission system which are made by combination of the above systems. The transmission system includes the transmission element with a tooth portion for transmitting the driving force from the driving unit D to the driven unit F. A transmission adjustment method in the transmission adjustment system is varied depending upon rotation or stop of a carrier. The guide cone system includes a guide cone having a portion of which comes in contact with the transmission element is formed in a shape of a cone having a constant slope. A coupling method of the above systems and an input/output method are selected in the continuously variable transmission system. With the above construction, this invention can be applied without being restricted to the output capacity of the engine, have a simple construction, and transmit a rotation force to an output shaft from an input shaft with high efficiency to reduce energy. Particularly, this invention is widely applied to an industrial machinery as well as a transportation machinery.

The engine and the motor generate driving torque, and the output shaft outputs the driving torque. The torque transmission device further includes a primary clutch, a secondary clutch, a primary brake, and a secondary brake. The primary brake selectively stops the rotation of the third rotating element, and the secondary brake selectively stops the rotation of the second rotating element.

    摘要: A manually controlled semi-automatic, multiple-step, internal gear driven transmission characterized by a hydraulic activation system of compensating fluid pressure versus spring compression resistance forces including a forward section having an integrated dual clutch and pinion carrier, driven by an engine shaft, a gear-type oil pump driven by helical gears supplying the servo-system, a rear section pinion carrier, related die cast pinion gear clusters, annulus gears and an interconnecting middle section dual-annulus gear. The gear ratio changes are effected by annulus fluid-combination spring power cylinder brake control and fluid actuated clutches capable of causing the transmission of torque to a load shaft directly through a main shaft, through the rear pinion carrier or through the dual annulus, whereby the least reduction is obtained when all elements are in operation. The invention is further characterized by a variable pressure regulator, governing actuating fluid pressure at idling speeds, and a differential-piston pressure regulator, governing main line fluid pressure at all speeds, to a directory rotary distributor valve feeding said power cylinders and clutches as directed by a manual straight line shifting arrangement, said regulators having a compensating fluid pressure versus spring compression design.

    摘要: A hydrodynamic-mechanical transmission for automobiles comprises a torque converter, a planetary gear train and connecting devices associated with the gear elements. The planetary gear train includes two simple planetary sets connected by means of a common sun gear. The connecting devices include (1) a forward clutch connecting the turbine shaft of the torque converter with the ring gear of the first planetary set, (2) a direct and reverse clutch coupling the turbine shaft with a clutch housing, which surrounds the forward clutch and is connected with the sun gear, (3) a band brake acting on the clutch housing, (4) a multipledisk brake actuated by a cylindrical piston and acting on the planet carrier of the second planetary set and (5) an overriding brake likewise acting on the planet carrier. The first planetary set, the forward clutch, the clutch housing and the cylindrical piston are arranged concentrically with each other.
