摘要: An electronic apparatus and method for enhancement of audio for users with a hearing impairment in a shared listening environment is provided. The electronic apparatus receives first audio content from a media source and detects a first user with a hearing disability as a wearer of the personal listening device. The electronic apparatus modifies one or more features of the first audio content based on an audio enhancement profile associated with the detected first user. Thereafter, the electronic apparatus generates second audio content based on the modification and shares the generated second audio content with the personal listening device.

摘要: An image capture device includes a housing having a lens snout protruding from a front housing surface. A front microphone is mounted below the lens snout. A top microphone is mounted under a top housing surface. The top microphone is positioned to receive direct freestream air flow at a first pitched forward angle. The front microphone is positioned to receive turbulent air flow at a second pitched forward angle. The second pitched forward angle is greater than or equal to the first pitched forward angle. An audio processor receives a first audio signal and a second audio signal from the top microphone and front microphone, respectively. The audio processor generates frequency sub-bands from the first and second audio signals. The audio processor selects the frequency sub-bands with the lowest noise metric and combines them to generate an output audio signal.

The system produces spatialized audio that has a virtual sound source position fixed to one or more virtual objects that are spatially manipulated by the user. Thus the system provides more realistic visual and auditory presentation of virtual components of a mixed reality experience.

摘要: A system for presenting audio content to a user. The system comprises one or more microphones coupled to a frame of a headset. The one or more microphones capture sound from a local area. The system further comprises an audio controller integrated into the headset and communicatively coupled to an in-ear device worn by a user. The audio controller identifies one or more sound sources in the local area based on the captured sound. The audio controller further determines a target sound source of the one or more sound sources and determines one or more filters to apply to a sound signal associated with the target sound source in the captured sound. The audio controller further generates an augmented sound signal by applying the one or more filters to the sound signal and provides the augmented sound signal to the in-ear device for presentation to a user.

摘要: Techniques are provided to transform external sound from an external position of an external audio space to an internal position of an internal audio space where the external sound would be heard naturally. The techniques involve capturing the external sound with a microphone and processing the captured external sound to appear as if it was captured at the internal position of the internal audio space, which may correspond to an output of a driver or a user's eardrum. Then the processed captured external sound may be conditioned for the individual user or further combined with conditioned audio content to create an augmented audio experience for the user. Any combination of the techniques can be implemented in real time.
