    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may order assignment indicator values for transmissions for use by feedback information in a feedback message. The UE may receive, during a monitoring occasion, a first control information over a first serving cell and a second control information over a second serving cell, where each control information schedules a respective transmission for a scheduled serving cell. The UE may order assignment indicator values for the transmissions based on indexes associated with the first and second serving cells (e.g., scheduling serving cells), an index associated with the scheduled serving cell, a start time of the transmissions, or some combination thereof, among other examples. The assignment indicator values may be associated with hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ/ACK) feedback, such that the UE may use the assignment indicator values to construct and transmit a feedback message.

Generally, a user equipment (UE) may communicate with a network device in an idle or disconnected state using preconfigured uplink resources (PURs). The UE may transmit uplink data, and may begin to monitor for a PUR response message corresponding to the uplink data after a configurable time offset. The Base station may indicate the configurable time offset in an RRC release message, another message, or the UE may select the configurable time offset from a set of configurable time offsets based on one or more system parameter values. Additionally, the UE may not monitor for PUR response messages after every PUR occasion during which it transmits uplink data.

Distributing the control channel information in segments or spans over time affords improved decoding timing in a UE in the scheduled cell.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods, devices, and systems for wireless communications, and more particularly uplink reference signal repetition for non-terrestrial networks. A user terminal in a non-terrestrial network may identify an uplink reference signal format that includes a comb-based pattern of subcarriers within a first orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and within a second OFDM symbol for transmission of an uplink reference signal. The user terminal may map the uplink reference signal to a first set of subcarriers within the first OFDM symbol and to a second set of subcarriers within the second OFDM symbol in accordance with the comb-based pattern. Thereby, the user terminal may transmit, to a base station in the non-terrestrial network, the uplink reference signal on the mapped subcarriers of the OFDM symbols, which may be transmitted coherently.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a low latency mode indication that indicates one or more different retransmission timelines or repetition techniques relative to communications that are not associated with the low latency mode indication. The base station may provide the low latency mode indication in downlink control information (DCI) that may include a resource grant for uplink resources for an uplink communication, such as for a UE transmission of pose information of an extended reality (XR) application. The low latency mode indication may signal that no retransmissions of the uplink communication are to be transmitted, that a different retransmission timeline is enabled for low latency mode communications, that retransmissions may happen based on a particular timeline that is determined according to one or more timers, or any combinations thereof.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for allocation of control channel candidates for multiple component carriers (CCs) in carrier aggregation (CA) communications. A CA limit may correspond to a total number of configurable control channel candidates across multiple CCs. The control channel candidates may include blind decoding (BD) candidates or control channel element (CCE) candidates for channel estimation. A per-CC limit of control channel candidates may correspond to a number of configurable control channel candidates for each CC. An applied set of control channel candidates may be determined by allocating control channel candidates across the multiple CCs based on the CA limit and the per-CC limit. Such techniques may be used in cases where the CCs have a same numerology or mixed numerology, and may also be used for cross-carrier scheduling.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may obtain access to a base station by performing an initial access procedure within an initial access bandwidth. In some cases, the UE may monitor for a cell specific configuration in the initial access bandwidth that indicate one or more first common search spaces within the initial access bandwidth that the UE may monitor for control information. Additionally, the UE may receive dedicated signaling after the initial access procedure that indicates a downlink bandwidth part (BWP) and one or more second common search spaces within the downlink BWP to monitor for control information. Accordingly, the UE may monitor the first common search spaces, the second common search spaces, or both based on the dedicated signaling.
