In some examples, a device provides user interfaces for activating accounts for accepting and sending transfers. In some examples, a device provides user interfaces for generating and displaying a transfers history list. In some examples, a device provides user interfaces for voice-activation of transfers. In some embodiments, the techniques include varying a feedback based on movement of a computer system toward or away from an external device. In some embodiments, the techniques include performing operations at a computer system in response to an input having a size that is less than or greater than a size threshold.     Abstract: Dynamically resizable UI views for electronic devices are disclosed. The dynamically resizable UI views may be UI views for widgets. In one or more implementations, an application provides, to a system process, multiple states for a user interface (UI) view for the application, and one or more transition definitions each defining a transition between two of the multiple states. When a user, or content of the UI view, triggers a change from one of the multiples states to another of the multiple states of the UI view, the system process may animate the change according to the one or more transition definitions. In one or more implementations, an application provides system animated transitions between application UI States, and provides application data to be displayed in the rendered UI view.

    Abstract: A test system may be used to measure biological samples and other samples. Samples may be placed on a test substrate such as a test slide or other transparent substrate. The substrate may have patches of reactant-coated gold nanorods or other nanostructures that exhibit plasmonic resonances. An accessory may be removably coupled to a portable electronic device such as a cellular telephone. The accessory may have a lens and a light source that emits light into an edge of the test slide. The light may scatter from the nanostructures in a perpendicular direction towards a camera in the portable electronic device so that the portable electronic device can gather images of the illuminated substrate and measure spectral shifts associated with reactions between the samples and the reactant, thereby helping to analyze the composition of the samples.

    Abstract: Embodiments of a next generation Node-B (gNB), User Equipment (UE) and methods for communication are generally described herein. A gNB may be configurable to operate as a master gNB (MgNB). The MgNB may transmit radio-resource control (RRC) signaling to provide information for dual connectivity to allow the UE to utilize radio resources of both a master cell group (MCG) associated with the MgNB and a secondary cell group (SCG) associated with a secondary gNB (SgNB). The MgNB may transmit, to the SgNB, an SgNB release request message that indicates a partial suspension of the dual connectivity, wherein: a first portion of a configuration for the SCG is to be maintained and a second portion of the configuration for the SCG is to be released.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are presented for utilizing a narrowband assisting network (NBAN) and a positioning assisting network (PAN) to assist in establishing and managing communications on a THz band wireless communication network. The THz network may be capable of transmitting/receiving with high bandwidth, but may be resource intensive and may be constrained to line-of-sight (LoS) communications. The NBAN and PAN may help to minimize the resources consumed by the THz network. The NBAN may identify a set of nodes of the THz network as candidates for establishing a connection with a user equipment (UE). The PAN may determine a position of each candidate relative to the UE, and may communicate the position to the respective candidate and to the UE, which may use the position information to expedite a beam alignment procedure. The NBAN may provide scheduling and other control signaling for the THz network.
