Abstract: A base station (BS) and a user equipment (UE) establish a wireless link. The BS transmits first downlink control information (DCI) to the UE over an unlicensed spectrum during a first channel occupancy time (COT). The first DCI schedules a plurality of shared channel communications, which may be physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) communications or physical downlink shared channel communication (PDSCH) communications. The first DCI also schedules an acknowledgment message for one or more of the plurality of shared channel communications. The scheduling indicated by the first DCI may include cross-COT scheduling, where one or more communications are scheduled in a second COT or outside of a COT. The UE and the BS perform the plurality of shared channel communications according to scheduling indicated by the first DCI.

Abstract: An approach to providing an indication of the availability of tracking reference signal (TRS) and/or channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) occasions. Channels for carrying the indication include system information block (SIB) signaling, paging physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), and paging early indications. Various approaches are described that provide the information, including a number of bitmap approaches, a hierarchical informational approach, a dynamic signal indication that carries configuration indices. Additional approaches are described that reduce unnecessary overhead by specifying certain reference signal (RS) occasions as being available.

Abstract: Improved configured grants (CGs) may include the designation of a footprint corresponding to uplink transmission of a UE, with the footprint at least partially defined by the occupied transmission time, occupied transmission frequency, and transmission power. The footprint may be adjustable and/or selectable by the UE according to the current traffic needs of the UE and within limits set for the footprint via prior signaling from the base station to the UE. The actual footprint parameters/values for the UE's uplink data transmissions may be received by the base station as part of CG uplink control information (CG-UCI) received from the UE. The base station may receive the CG-UCI over resources configured according to additional parameter values transmitted to the UE via the prior signaling from the base station. The base station may further receive uplink data on resources configured according to the actual footprint values.

Abstract: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, baseband processors, and methods for performing uplink communications and vehicle-to-everything sidelink communication. A wireless device receives first control information through a sidelink control channel specifying one or more first time slots for the wireless device to transmit a sidelink acknowledgment message over a sidelink feedback channel. The wireless device receives a resource grant through a downlink control channel, wherein the resource grant specifies one or more second time slots for the wireless device to transmit an uplink transmission over an uplink channel. The first and second time slots at least partially overlap, and it is selectively determined whether to transmit the sidelink acknowledgment message or the uplink transmission during the overlapping time slots.

Abstract: Systems and methods for control signaling for beam searching latency reduction are disclosed herein. A g Node B (gNB) may determine that a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) and a second SSB are to be spatially correlated and may select a first transmit (Tx) beam to transmit the first SSB and a second Tx beam to transmit the second SSB accordingly. The gNB may also transmit a correlation message including spatial correlation information to help a UE determine the spatial correlation. The UE may measure the first SSB on a first subset of a plurality of receive (Rx) beams and measure the second. SSB on a second subset of the plurality of Rx beams, and select an Rx beam for one or both. In some embodiments, channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS) that are quasi co-located (QCLed) with a Oven SSB may be measured in place of the SSB.

Abstract: Control signaling is introduced for enhanced physical control channel (e.g. PDCCH) transmission/reception. A physical control channel may be transmitted and received using multiple beam pairs. The location of the physical control channel may be based on the search space (SS) and its associated control channel resource set (CORESET), with a specified number of transmission configuration indication (TCI) states configured for a CORESET, and/or one SS mapped to a specified number of CORESETs. The TCI states may be selected from a TCI list configured in the corresponding CORESET via radio resource control, and/or may be activated by a media access control (MAC) control element (CE). A base station (e.g. gNB) may configure more than one CORESET-ID for each SS via RRC signaling, applying the configuration for a device specific SS, or both a device specific SS and cell specific SS.
