    Abstract: A method and apparatus for resource allocation for sidelink configured grant is provided. A first wireless device receives, from a network, a cell specific Uplink (UL)-Downlink (DL) Time Division Duplex (TDD) configuration and considers that a first slot of a specific sidelink grant occurs in a logical slot determined based on a periodicity. The periodicity is determined based on a number of slots related to sidelink transmission, and the number of slots is determined based on the cell specific UL-DL TDD configuration.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for bandwidth parts (BWPs) deactivation and discontinuous reception (DRX) for communication between wireless devices is provided. A first wireless device operating in a wireless communication system performs transmission of a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) to a second wireless device, and starts a discontinuous (DRX) hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round trip time (RTT) timer for a HARQ process ID after end of a specific repetition of the transmission of the MAC PDU. The first wireless device starts a DRX retransmission timer based on 1) the DRX HARQ RTT timer being expired, and 2) a number of transmissions of the MAC PDU not reaching a maximum number of transmissions, and monitors a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) carrying a sidelink retransmission grant during an active time including a time interval for which the DRX retransmission timer is running.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for media access control (MAC) reset for radio resource control (RRC) connection between wireless devices is provided. A wireless device operating in a wireless communication system triggers a scheduling request (SR) based on a triggered sidelink (SL) buffer status report (BSR) and/or SL channel state information (CSI) reporting. Based on a media access control (MAC) reset being requested, by an upper layer of the wireless device, for one PC5-RRC connection among one or more PC5-RRC connections, the wireless device cancels any SR only associated to the one PC5-RRC connection.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) transmissions for configured grants (CGs) in a wireless communication system is provided. A first wireless device receives a retransmission resource for a HARQ process identifier (ID) for a CG. When a number of transmissions of a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) does not reach to a maximum number of transmissions, the first wireless device performs retransmission of the MAC PDU to a second wireless device by using the retransmission resource. When the number of transmissions of the MAC PDU reaches to the maximum number of transmissions, the first wireless device flushes a HARQ buffer in a sidelink process.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for indicating sidelink (SL) radio link failure (RLF) in a wireless communication system is provided. A first wireless device may initialize the counter to zero upon 1) establishing the PC5-RRC connection with the second wireless device, or 2) configuring or reconfiguring the maximum number of the counter. A first wireless device may increase the counter based on no reception of any acknowledgement to the transmission of the MAC PDU. A first wireless device may indicate Sidelink (SL) Radio Link Failure (RLF) for the PC5-RRC connection based on that the counter reaches the maximum number of the counter.
