Abstract: A wearable electronic device can include optical assemblies for providing visual output to a user. The optical assemblies can include a central display as well as a light track that surrounds at least a portion of the central display. Primary information and images can be provided at the central display to be received at a center region of a user's vision. Supplemental content and/or information can be provided by operation of the light track, which can be operated with relatively simple controls. The supplemental content and/or information can be received at a peripheral region of the user's vision. Accordingly. the inner and outer images produced by the separate mechanisms of the optical assembly can provide a single continuous image for observation by the user.

Abstract: In one implementation, a method of tracking contexts is performed at a device including an image sensor, one or more processors, and non-transitory memory. The method includes capturing, using the image sensor, an image of an environment at a particular time. The method includes detecting a context based at least in part on the image of the environment. The method includes, in accordance with a determination that the context is included within a predefined set of contexts, storing, in a database, an entry including data indicating detection of the context in association with data indicating the particular time. The method includes receiving a query regarding the context. The method includes providing a response to the query based on the data indicating the particular time.

In some implementations, a method includes generating, at a first time, intermediate warping data for a warping operation to be performed on an application frame. In some implementations, the method includes obtaining, at a second time that occurs after the first time, via the environmental sensor, environmental data that indicates a pose of the device within a physical environment of the device. In some implementations, the method includes generating a warped application frame by warping the application frame in accordance with the pose of the device and the intermediate warping data. In some implementations, the method includes displaying the warped application frame on the display.

Abstract: Autonomous navigation of a vehicle along one or more portions of a driving route based on monitoring, at the vehicle, various features of the route as the vehicle is manually navigated along the route to develop a characterization of the route is described. The characterization is progressively updated with repeated manual navigations along the route, and autonomous navigation of the route is enabled when a confidence indicator of the characterization meets a threshold indication. Characterizations can be updated in response to the vehicle encountering changes in the route and can include a set of driving rules associated with the route, where the driving rules are developed based on monitoring the navigation of one or more vehicles of the route. Characterizations can be uploaded to a remote system which processes data to develop and refine route characterizations and provide characterizations to one or more vehicles.

Abstract: A head-mounted device may have a display that displays content for a user. Head-mounted support structures in the device support the device on the head of the user. A non-removable lens system may be supported by the head-mounted support structures. The head-mounted support structures may be configured to receive a removable supplemental lens system. The removable supplemental lens system may be used to customize the head-mounted display to accommodate the user's vision. Information such as information on the optical characteristics of the removable supplemental lens system and the user's eyeglass prescription may be stored in the removable supplemental lens system using bar codes, text, programmable memory, or other data storage. When the removable supplemental lens system is installed in the head-mounted device, control circuitry in the head-mounted device may retrieve the stored information. A gaze tracker system or other sensors may be used in retrieving the stored information.
