    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a semiconductor device includes a first insulating layer, an oxide semiconductor disposed on the first insulating layer, a second insulating layer which covers the oxide semiconductor and a gate electrode disposed on the second insulating layer and overlapping the oxide semiconductor. The oxide semiconductor includes a first region overlapping the gate electrode and a second region not overlapping the gate electrode. The first insulating layer, the second region and the second insulating layer contain impurities of a same type. The impurities contained in a region directly below the second region in the first insulating layer are more than the impurities contained in the second region.

    Abstract: According to an aspect, a force sensor includes: a sensor sheet having a first surface and a second surface on an opposite side to the first surface; a substrate facing the first surface; a first adhesive layer interposed between the substrate and the sensor sheet and made of an anisotropic conductive material; and a plurality of array electrodes interposed between the substrate and the first adhesive layer and separated from each other. The first surface of the sensor sheet is bonded to the first adhesive layer. The first adhesive layer has conductivity in a thickness direction and has insulation properties in a planar direction along a plane.

    Abstract: To make the dimension of an electrostatic protection circuit small with the same maintained high in sensitivity. The electrostatic protection circuit is of the configuration that a first diode and a second diode are connected in series, wherein a semiconductor layer owned by each diode is configured to be sandwiched between a gate electrode and a conductive light shielding film. The light shielding film is formed to overlap with the semiconductor layer and has a wider area than the semiconductor layer. This results in having a gate covering the semiconductor layer from an upper side and a back gate covering the semiconductor layer from a lower side, so that the sensitivity can be maintained high irrespective of decreasing the electrostatic protection circuit in dimension.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, an illumination device includes a wiring substrate, light emitting elements, a projection, and a protective layer. The main surface of the wiring substrate is divided into segment regions. Each of the segment regions is provided with n of the light emitting elements. N is greater than 1. The light emitting elements are independently driven in units of the segment regions. The protective layer is configured to protect the light emitting elements. The upper surface of the protective layer is located on the main surface side from the highest part of the projection.
