摘要: An apparatus for growing a biological macromolecular crystal by vaporizing biological macromolecular solution into an oversaturated state. The apparatus includes a first sealed room that receives first crystallizing agent solution, and a communicating tube that communicates with the first sealed room and has a small sectional area for suppressing convection of air. A plurality of droplets of solution dissolving a biological macromolecule and a crystallizing agent therein are held in the communicating tube with the plurality of droplets being separated from each other.

摘要: An electrostatic levitation furnace is improved by providing three pairs of electrodes opposed to each other respectively on three axes perpendicularly intercepting each other at a position where the sample is to be levitated in the vacuum chamber, and disposing a plurality of access ports, which are directed to the position of the sample, to the vacuum chamber tree-dimensionally, whereby the accessible direction against the sample is diversified, it becomes possible to improve the degree of freedom in distribution of various apparatuses and easily cope with increase of apparatuses.

摘要: An FRP continuous molding apparatus continuously molds an FRP from a layered sheet that includes prepreg sheets layered over each other. The prepreg sheets each include thermoplastic resin and reinforcement fibers, and differ from each other in fiber orientation. The FRP continuous molding apparatus includes: sheet feeding devices continuously feeding the layered sheets in a feeding direction; a layering device layering, over each other, the layered sheets fed from the sheet feeding devices, and thereby forming a sheet layered body; and a shaping mechanism molding the sheet layered body into an FRP while the sheet layered body is being transferred in the feeding direction. The FRP has a cross section that is a target shape. The sheet layered body includes the reinforcement fibers whose fiber orientation is the feeding direction.

摘要: A method for producing a silicon-carbide-based composite. In the production of a silicon-carbide-based composite comprising a carbon-fiber-reinforced/silicon carbide composite (a C/SiC composite) or a silicon-carbide-fiber-reinforced/silicon carbide composite (a SiC/SiC composite), a film boiling method is carried out, using an organosilicon polymer having a chlorine-free polysilane skeleton and/or a chlorine-free polycarbosilane skeleton. The organosilicon polymer is in a liquid form at room temperature. The molar ratio of Si and C in the matrix of the C/SiC composite or the SiC/SiC composite is Si:C=1:1.08 to 1:1.43.

摘要: A cylindrical case body made of a composite material; a linking ring made of aluminum, fitted and fixed to a rear end portion of the case body and having an annular groove which receives a reverse thrust load from a reverse thrust transmission body; and ring constituent bodies made of titanium alloy, each of which is placed in the rear end portion of the case body and has an arcuate groove which undertakes a reverse thrust load larger than that received by the linking ring, are provided in a fan case. The ring constituent bodies are fitted in notches of the linking ring and are brought into contact with outward receiving walls of the linking ring. The ring constituent bodies are positioned relative to the case body in the axis direction and in the radial direction, and the annular groove and the arcuate grooves continue to each other.
