Abstract: A load control method and a load control apparatus for a wind turbine generator system are provided, and the load control method includes: obtaining feature parameters of the wind turbine generator system for load prediction; obtaining a load estimation value of the wind turbine generator system by inputting the obtained feature parameters into a virtual load sensor; adjusting a control strategy of the wind turbine generator system based on the obtained load estimation value. A controller and a computer readable storage medium storing a computer program are further included. With the load control method and apparatus for the wind turbine generator system, a trained virtual load sensor can be used to realize real-time monitoring of the load of the on-site wind turbine generator system, and a reference for adjusting the control strategy can be provided according to the load.

Abstract: A method for transitioning a wind turbine into an energy harvesting mode in which the wind turbine generates electrical power from wind energy is provided. An energy storage system supplies electrical power to an auxiliary system when the wind turbine is not generating or receiving electrical power sufficient for supplying the auxiliary system. The method includes operating the wind turbine in a first operating mode in which an electrical power supply is ceased; obtaining environmental data including at least one of wind data and meteorological data; and determining if the obtained environmental data meets a predefined condition. If the predefined condition is met, a transition of the operation of the wind turbine into the energy harvesting mode is caused, wherein transitioning the operation into the energy harvesting mode comprises supplying electrical power from the energy storage system to the one or more auxiliary power consumers of the first group.

Abstract: A hybrid electric aircraft propulsion system and method of operation are described. The system comprises a thermal engine, a generator coupled to the thermal engine, a first electric propulsor operatively connected to the generator to receive alternating current (AC) electric power therefrom, a second electric propulsor, a generator inverter operatively connected to the generator to convert AC electric power to direct current (DC) electric power, and a first motor inverter operatively connected to the generator inverter and selectively connected to one of the first electric propulsor and the second electric propulsor and configured to receive the DC electric power and provide the first electric propulsor and the second electric propulsor with AC electric power, respectively.

Abstract: A rotation speed avoidance control method for a wind turbine generator system. The method comprises: when a power-limited operation instruction is received, determining a power value upper limit required by the instruction: determining whether the required power value upper limit is in a power avoidance interval corresponding to a rotation speed avoidance interval; and when the required power value upper limit is in the power avoidance interval, setting the maximum allowable power value of a wind turbine generator system to be a lower boundary value of the power avoidance interval. An upper boundary value of the power avoidance interval is a power value determined on the basis of an upper boundary value of the rotation speed avoidance interval, and the lower boundary value of the power avoidance interval is a power value determined on the basis of a lower boundary value of the rotation speed avoidance interval, wherein the rotation speed avoidance interval and the power avoidance interval are open intervals. By means of the control method, an operation range of the rotation speed of a wind turbine generator system in a power-limited operation state can be prevented from overlapping with a rotation speed avoidance interval, thereby preventing resonance of the generator system, load increase or other safety problems. In addition, the present invention further relates to an apparatus for implementing the control method, and a wind turbine generator system.
