Abstract: The vehicle comprises a chassis adapted to connect the front axle to the rear axle and a body connected resiliently to the chassis. The engine of the vehicle is fixed on the chassis by linking means opposing any substantial deflection between the engine and the chassis in longitudinal and transverse directions of the vehicle. The engine thus contributes to the rigidity of the chassis. The chassis may comprise two longitudinal members; the engine is fixed between two of the ends of these longitudinal members so as to serve as a cross-member for the chassis.
