    Abstract: A vehicle control device of an embodiment includes a recognizer configured to recognize a surrounding situation of a vehicle. a driving state detector configured to detect a driving state of an occupant of the vehicle, and a determiner configured to determine distracted driving of the occupant on the basis of a result of detection by the driving state detector, in which the determiner determines that the occupant is in distracted driving when a steering operation of the occupant is not detected by the driving state detector for a predetermined period of time or more, and the predetermined period of time is set on the basis of a contact margin time between an obstacle near the vehicle and the vehicle, and a speed of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicle headlight device comprising: a low-beam lamp and a high-beam lamp that illuminates a first light distribution region that is in front of the vehicle with light; and a patterned-light emitter that illuminates a second light distribution region with light in an illumination pattern in which bright regions and dark regions alternately repeat, the second light distribution region being further toward an outer side than the first light distribution region in the vehicle width direction, wherein the patterned-light emitter emits light such that intervals between the bright regions that are adjacent are wider at a position further ahead of the vehicle than at a position closer to the vehicle in a traveling direction of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus includes an actuator used for traveling and a microprocessor. The microprocessor is configured to perform: recognizing a road traffic sign installed on a driving path of a subject vehicle and a curved road based on a curvature of the driving path on a forward side in an advancing direction; and setting a target driving speed of the subject vehicle on the driving path. The setting includes, when the curved road and the road traffic sign is recognized on the curved road while the subject vehicle is traveling in a merging lane, setting the target driving speed to a first target driving speed which is based on the road traffic sign, and when the subject vehicle enters the main, setting the target driving speed to a second target driving speed different from the first target driving speed.
