An OLED device adapted to improve its life span and reliability is disclosed. The OLED device includes: a first electrode disposed on a substrate; an organic light emission layer disposed on the first electrode; a second electrode disposed on the organic light emission layer; an auxiliary electrode disposed on the second electrode; and a getter electrode, disposed on the auxiliary electrode, to remove at least one of moisture and oxygen.

A receiving apparatus in an OFDM communication system, in which the receiving apparatus includes a serial-to-parallel converter that converts a serial signal received through an antenna to parallel signals. A pre-processor processes an nth symbol converted in the serial-to-parallel converter using an (n−1)th symbol and an (n+1)th symbol. A Fourier transformer Fourier-transforms the output of the pre-processor and an equalizer equalizes a Fourier-transformed signal. A deinterleaver deinterleaves an equalized signal, a decoder decodes a deinterleaved signal, and a parallel-to-serial converter converts parallel decoded signal to a signal stream.

A method for assigning a single frequency sub-channel to a plurality of MSs (Mobile Stations) in an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system utilizing SDM (Spatial Division Multiplexing) with multiple transmit/receive antennas. In the method, a BS (Base Station) can effectively assign a pilot channel to estimate a downlink channel. The BS divides the single frequency sub-channel into a plurality of spatial channels, and sequentially assigns the plurality of spatial channels to the MSs having the maximum communication capacity, thereby transmitting signals of the MSs through the single frequency sub-channel.

Disclosed is a method of inputting letters in a mobile terminal by using letter keys each of which has at least one letter allocated thereto. In the method, after there is an input of at least two letter keys, first proposed letter sets are extracted from combinations of letters allocated to the input letter keys, and one of the extracted first proposed letter sets is selected. When there is a further input of the letter key, the first proposed letter sets are further extracted by combining the selected first proposed letter set with letters allocated to the further input letter key. One of the further extracted first proposed letter sets is selected and the selected letter set is received as input data.

An apparatus and method for selecting an effective channel in a multi-user MIMO system are provided, in which a receiver receives pilot signals from a transmitter, determines channel information indicating an antenna offering the best quality among a plurality of antennas using the pilot signals, and generates feedback information with the channel information, and the transmitter receives feedback information from a plurality of receivers, generates a channel matrix using the feedback information, and transmits data simultaneously to the plurality of receivers using the channel matrix.

The present invention provides the multiuser Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems with a feedback method which includes measuring, at the terminal, received Signal to Noise Ratios (SNRs) for all transmit antennas, selecting one of precoding matrixes, which has best SNRs, retrieving an index mapped to the selected preceding matrix from a predetermined mapping table, and transmitting the index with the SNRs of the selected precoding matrix. In the present invention, it is possible to reduce feedback information amount without degradation of the sum rate performance of the system since the feedback information is transmitted in a form of index implying appropriate precoding matrix and corresponding SNRs.

Disclosed is a method and an apparatus for transmitting/receiving signals in an multiple input multiple output (MIMO) wireless communication system. The method and apparatus including beam forming of a reference signal while predetermined codes are mapped on a one-to-one basis to each of a plurality of beams available for the transmitter and thereafter transmitting the beam-formed reference signal to a receiver. Also, if information representing an optimum beam, which maximizes reception performance, is received from the receiver, beam forming of data signals is performed by means of a beam corresponding to the information on the optimum beam and the beam-formed data signals are transmitted to the receiver. Therefore, it is possible to apply a beam forming scheme having minimum operation complexity and maximizing reception performance.

An apparatus and method for performing beamforming for transmitting a plurality of bit streams output through Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC) via a plurality of transmission antennas in a base station using a multi-antenna scheme. The apparatus and method include classifying the plurality of transmission antennas into a plurality of transmission antenna groups; selecting one of the transmission antenna groups depending on a group selection signal being fed back from a mobile station; and outputting each of the bit streams to its associated transmission antenna among the transmission antennas constituting the selected transmission antenna group.

A PLC system for automatically controlling PID for controlling the target value for residual chemicals in a water treatment facility, according to the present invention, comprises: a PID control software; a main control room computer for generating a PID control command regarding chemical deposit amount and relaying same to a field control PLC in a chemical room; the field control PLC in the chemical room for receiving a PID control command signal from the main control room computer and performing computing and control; and a chemical depositor in the chemical room for receiving the control signal from the field control PCL and depositing the indicated amount of chemicals, wherein the main control room computer calculates an initial setting value for the chemical deposit amount and generates the PID control command.

Provided is a scanning arm which moves to collect pollutants on the surface of a semiconductor wafer, for use in a semiconductor wafer pollutant measurement apparatus, and a scanning device using the same. The scanning arm includes: an X-axis portion; a Z-axis portion which is perpendicularly installed with the X-axis portion so as to move forward and backward along the X-axis portion; and a Y-axis portion which is perpendicularly installed with the Z-axis portion so as to move up and down with respect to the Z-axis portion.
