摘要: An apparatus for use in treating a tissue site with negative pressure, which may comprise a fluid path between a first end and a second end. The fluid conductor may additionally comprise a plurality of pressure indicators configured to indicate a pressure state between the first end and the second end. In some examples, the fluid conductor may be fluidly coupled to a source of negative pressure and a dressing, which can be configured to be applied to a tissue site for treatment with negative pressure.

摘要: A system is described herein that can irrigate a tissue site using negative-pressure. The system may include a tissue interface configured to be placed adjacent to the tissue site, and a sealing member configured to be placed over the tissue interface to form a sealed space. The system may also include a negative-pressure source configured to be fluidly coupled to the sealed space and a fluid source. The system may further include an irrigation valve. The irrigation valve can have a fluid inlet configured to be fluidly coupled to the fluid source. The irrigation valve can also have a fluid outlet configured to be fluidly coupled to the sealed space. The irrigation valve may also include a clamp configured to be actuated by the negative-pressure source to regulate fluid flow from the fluid source through the fluid outlet.

摘要: A wound therapy system includes a canister configured to contain fluid removed from a wound site, a primary conduit having a first end coupled to the canister and a second end coupled to the wound site, and a pump fluidly coupled to the wound site via the primary conduit. The pump is configured to apply negative pressure to the wound site via the primary conduit. The system includes a pressure indicator configured to indicate a negative pressure at the pressure indicator and a secondary conduit having a first end coupled to the pressure indicator and a second end coupled to the wound site such that the negative pressure at the wound site is fluidly transmitted to the pressure indicator via the secondary conduit. A blockage in the primary conduit causes the negative pressure indicated by the pressure indicator to differ from the negative pressure applied by the pump.

摘要: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for instilling fluid to a tissue site in a negative-pressure therapy environment are described, Illustrative embodiments may include a pneumatically-actuated instillation pump that can draw a solution from a solution source during a negative-pressure interval, and instill the solution to a dressing during a venting interval. In one example embodiment, a system for providing negative-pressure and instillation to a tissue site may comprise a negative-pressure device and an instillation device. The negative-pressure device may comprise a negative-pressure source and a controller electrically coupled to the negative-pressure source. The instillation device may comprise a dosing valve having a dosing chamber including a dosing outlet configured to be fluidly coupled to a fluid port and a dosing inlet configured to be fluidly coupled to a source of instillation solution. The dosing valve may also have a working chamber including a biasing element operably engaged to the dosing chamber and configured to be fluidly coupled to the negative-pressure source. In some embodiments of the system, the instillation device may further comprise a wireless transceiver configured to communicate with the controller, and at least one sensor coupled to the wireless transceiver to provide a signal indicative of an operating condition of the dosing valve, and wherein the wireless transceiver is configured to communicate the at least one signal to the controller.
